The inside of Medusa's lair. There are many blocks and random stairs. Medusa has a specific podium like block which she has customized to be able to float. There is a crystal ball there that allows her to see into wherever she wants to. All of the blocks in her lair can float or move to her will.

Medusa stood tall deep within the ruins, in the middle of a stonehenge looking part of the ruins that seemed to be omitting a strange and ominous power. "Nake... Snake... Cobra Cobubura... Naaake... Snaaaake... Cobra Cobubura..." Medusa smiled "The Kishin Asura, I beg for your return... For you are needed to change this world into one anew and ruled by your power..." Medusa raised her hands, then noticing from the high powered magic assisting her magical perception that... someone was coming... And coming fast. Or, perhaps, there were people already here. She frowned "Hm. Free. Eruka. Mizune sisters. Unwanted guests are approaching of limited power... Take them out. This energy of these ruins will increase our magic by tenfold. You all alone can easily eliminate anyone who comes within. Do not let them enter here..." Medusa turned, letting her lackeys go do her bidding.

They all said in unison "Yes, Lady Medusa!" And went on their way to intercept and destroy the enemies.

Some time later, Maruze would shoot into Medusa's immediate area, however he stared at her in secret hiiigh atop a broken pillar. He would wait for Tera, since Maruze did not think he could handle this witch alone, seeing as what she was doing right now... He then heard her start to speak.

"...Hm? Is she referring to... Tera...? What could be going on with him right now...?"

Medusa begins to giggle a bit "Hmhmhm... It is almost ready for the Kishin to return... Once I am done here, he will come and be under my control... Hmhmhmhm..." Medusa looked up to the border of the barrier "And so long as I'm here, might as well make my power boost permanent..." Some arrows extended into the border of the magic barrier and began to suck in the magic. Finally, when enough magic was sucked out, 4 small orbs appeared in Medusa's hands. These orbs would allow her and her colleagues' powers to be amplified tenfold even when not within the borders of the magic barrier... Which would be quite useful. "Ah, what use these will be in the futu-- ... Wait... Something is amiss.. One of them is here and I know it..." Her snake-like eyes darted up and locked onto Maruze's position. She stared up at him, though said and did nothing as magic surged throughout the concentrated area that looked like Stonehenge. She knew Maruze saw her, and he would know that she saw him. She merely giggled and turned back around "With this pool of magic, the souls from the past will build and the Kishin will draw near... And when the time comes... The snake will strike..."

Maruze dashed off to the side opposite of Tera, hoping that she would only be able to get one of them instead of both. "Infinite Blades!" 99 blades then appeared above Medusa and proceeded to crash down on her at a high speed.

A large arrow came from Medusa's body, easily as large as a plane and without any effort slapped away all of the swords. As for the strands, easily dodge... "Vector Plate." Suddenly, the ground under her collapsed and she fell into a large hole. The Vector Plate was made under the surface of the ground pointing downward, so the ground would be compressed drastically and Medusa would have a quick access underground escape. Suddenly, above Maruze and Tera were 2 large Vector Plates that floated, pointing in the opposite direction the they were running, which would forcefully push them back into their initial positions, which Medusa was now directly under, however still underground. Finally, she finished her action, though Maruze and Tera would not be able to hear her "Vector Storm." From that position, a maelstrom of huge, cutting arrows instantly shot up and ripped through everything above Medusa, about the size of an F5 tornado, which just as much power, to boot. Each of the arrows moved in different directions, which made them even more.. slicey.

~@The threads and strands that missed would worm into the ground in once again a wavelength fashion. As Tera is forced back, as well as Maruze, He stabbed one of his sycthes into the ground, causing a rip along the way back.@~

Tch-Vectors??

~@As they flew backward Tera would hear the ground beneath them rumble and rupture, meaning something was coming. He leaped into the air, spinning a sycthe in each hand like a cyclone, and as they spun they began to brim with dark energy. The vectors came up, and while some would be forced slightly to the side to avoid hitting Tera, others, or most in this case, that didn't get moved by the cyclones would be chopped by the rotating Sycthes. He wasn't sure of how Maruze would handle the situation, so Tera would have Maruze shadow rise up around him, then solidifying like dark energy, to be a decent defense to the vectors, unless he already took care of himself.@~

Maruze had his 99 blades fly back to him "Magic Division!" He would have all 99 swords surround him so that he could divide the magic of Medusa's attack, however even with divided power, Medusa's vectors were still strong enough to push him away. He landed some feet away from them "Thank you, Tera... But make sure to be wary of your surroundings.. It seems as though she can make those 'Vector Plate' things anywhere and they will instantly force us in the direction that they point... and they may point to our doom..." Maruze began to glow after he finished talking "Sword Magic; Blade-Man combo!" All 99 of his swords then merged with his body, the Magic Division still in effect so that when Medusa attacked, it would be reduced power, or at least to him. Unfortunately, since he was using his Blade-Man combo, he wouldn't be able to help Tera without physically getting near him to cut the magic... But he figured he would be fine. Maruze did not want to jump straight down into that hole, for he knew nothing of what would happen. He would have to wait until Medusa came up..

Medusa laughed loudly at the two "Hahahaha!! I think I am done toying with you all now... Completion of summoning the Kishin Asura is just about complete.. Might as well get rid of you... Vector Boost." Arrows appeared all over Medusa's body being embedded into her skin. She figured she would tell them what she was about to do to them, since she was evil like that "Hmhmhm... I would suggest that you all brace yourselves, since I have just done my Vector Boost power up... What it does is increases all of my attacked x3 until all of the arrows are odff of my body... And with this magical barrier, my Vector Boost's power is increased tenfold, making it increase all of my magic by x30, and with all of my magic already increased tenfold by the barrier, that would mean that all of my magic is increased by... hm... What's that number? 300 times? Haha~ I believe that is correct~!" Her eyes could be seen gleaming from the darkness of the large pit that had been made from her vectors. To show off, she proceeded in making one Vector Arrow come from her body, which was about 2 or 3 times larger than a whale. It shot straight up, practically destroying the entire area completely where those two stood. And that was just one when she normally made usually 100 come out. She began to laugh "Why don't you just go home, little boys~?"

~@Tera would hold his hands up as they began to make a buzzing noise. The sound created from the destroyed building would condense together, forming a ball of compacted sound in the air.@~

That would be nice, especially considering this powerful energy I'm sensing, but alas, this was our mission.

~@ As Tera spoke, the area would be destroyed completely, but as boulders massive ceiling fragments and what not fell down, The ones heading toward Maruze and Tera would split in half, falling around them, not on them. Tera was now a few feet of the ground, the atmosphere around him looked warped.@~

Hmp, Looks like...theres no avoiding using this, for this fight.

~@ He clapped his hands together, sending a wave of air at Medusa. The clap itself was also a shockwave of sound, and sound travels quickly through air, and with the air already moving at a high speed towards Medusa, the sound shockwave would be 3 times as quick as any regular sound wave he produced, moving at her with speed equal to mach 3. Sound can be heard, but not seen, as for the air moving this quick, it would catch other air molecules along the way to Medusa, becoming bigger with each passing second. Not even a second later, it was about 10 meters away from Medusa the width and length of a sidewalk {length being an entire block}. Tera whipped around his other hand, and a sphere of air would appear beneath Maruze, keeping him afloat.@~

Maruze tried to assist Tera by putting some freezing winds along with his attack "Sword Magic: Ice Blades!" He leapt into the air and began to spin and released a huge amount of icy mist, which would get caught up in Tera's attack and fly at Medusa in an attempt to freeze her as well, and hopefully stop her from completing this summoning.

Medusa's plan was just about complete. She could feel the presence of the Kishin coming closer, the insanity that filled the air. There was no stopping it now. The only thing to do was to quickly rid herself of these children... "Vector... Storm." Again, she released gargantuan arrows from her body that took the shape of a tornado instantly, however they were so incredibly large and powerful as of now that they basically completely decimated the area into nothingness, ridding her of the attack from Tera and Maruze altogether. The arrows would almost instantly shred them to bits if they were not to block them, since escape from them was just about impossible. Medusa laughed wickedly "It doesn't even matter! I have stalled you all long enough... The Kishin Asura is here... And perhaps he will harvest your souls for the hell of it? HmhmhmhmHAHAHAH!"

A horrible aura of insanity was let loose about the area as Asura made his way in. The skies turned red and black as far as the eye could see, seemingly going into the Reality village itself as of right now. Asura's mouth was gaping, drooling for the souls that he had seen in the Stonehenge looking summoning place. "The one who has left me these souls... the one who has brought me back.." He sniffed about for the presence "... Hmmm... Who are you, witch? I am grateful for these souls... What is it you seek of me...?" Asura inhaled, sucking in all of the souls with one large gulp. There seemed to be just about 1,000, making Asura now have a total of 2,000 souls, meaning he was just surging with a extreme and unbeknownst power.

~@Thinking quickly, Tera grabbed the ring of condensed sound from his fight with the other two witches, and pulled it off. He dashed in front of Maruze, and held the ring of sound forward.@~

Cover your ears Maruze.

~@ The condensed sound relieved its pressure instantly, and the sound would burst about through the area, rupturing everything in site, leaving the area but a clean to the bone barren land. This massive burst would quickly send off the incoming vector arrows into other directions, if not ridding of them completely due to the rupturing of molecules by the high sound burst. With the arrows taken care of, Tera would turn his attention to the creature that came before Medusa.@~

Is that...what she was talking about? A Kinshin?

~@Wind would spiral around Tera's hands before mixing with some dark energy. He clapped his hands, sending a massive vortex infused with dark energy and rupturing chakra at Medusa and the Kinshin. His hands would quickly form another layer of dark energy and wind.@~

Asura looked at the threat that was attacking... He saw the witch as an ally, seemingly, and the sword one as not an immediate threat... Just another soul to eat later. The other one... The one using sound... That was the one he would have to take out. Asura clasped his hands together and a huge rune/seal thing appeared around him and Medusa, easily brushing off the souls as if it were nothing, mostly because thesis was made of soul energy and was a force rather than anything that worked on a molecular level and lastly because... well... Sheer power difference. Once everything was done, The rune seal things dissipated. "Witch... Prove your worth to me by ridding me of those two... I do not seek souls of such low power... They will fall soon enough to my insanity..." Asura wrapped his skin around his mouth automatically, making it look like a scarf of 3 fingered hands though the skin only wrapped around his neck and mouth, leaving his 3 eyes and his hair able to be seen clearly.

She laughed as she could see through Asura now because of the snakes in his body that he didn't even know would penetrate him and latch to his mind and soul. If he thought of turning on her, she would alter his judgment. No matter what, Asura would join her... He absolutely WOULD.

Medusa pulled out of her bag the soul of a witch and 2 weapons, a hook with a line attached to it and a filer, and lastly a rather large syringe with some Black Blood in it "With these, I can turn you into a living weapon... Which will allow you to harness your soul energy and channel it through you with greater power than any normal person... And allow to to change shape at any time... And finally, this Black Blood..." She held it up to Kaerei "I will be injecting this into your blood. It will keep you from getting wounds that are deeper than your blood stream, leaving you fully protected without any armor on. It will also allow you to harden and retract it as if it were a normal weapon, ad finally... It will allow you to heal at an astronomical rate. Does that not sound exciting? If you do not decline my offer, then I will be happy to perform the ritual..." Medusa awaited the proposition of Kaerei "Oh, and I must ask if you... Will allow me to have some petrification abilities within me? Seeing as you area master druid and shaman, you should be able to whip me up a potion to give petrification properties to my magic, right?"

With Medusa's ability, she gave Kaerei a bit of her Soul Protect magic "This allows you to hide your soul and your power from anyone who might be able to see it. And lastly, for this to take place, you must ingest the melted down weapons and the witch soul and the black blood at once... If you can do that yourself, it would make things a lot easier for me..." Medusa smiled wickedly "And if you would be so kind as to.. Give me that potion?"

Kaerei grabbed the weapons and in exchange, a spirit appeared with the potion and handed it to Medusa. Kaerei spat some acid on the weapons and melted them down, drinking them while taking the witch soul along with them. Finally, as this was going on, she devoured the syrings as well, accidentally, meaning she would get the powers of 3 weapons instead of 2; a hook, a file and a syringe needle. Oh, what fun. Kaerei could feel a new power surging through her body... The black blood... the weapons... the Soul protect... It felt good... She also felt a bit of insanity she never felt before, most likely omitting from the Witch from being with a certain someone too long. Kaerei giggled, needles, hooks and files jutting out from all over her body "Gekogekogekogeko...GEEEkogekogekogekogeko... GEKOGEKOGEKOGEKOGEKOOOO! Gekori.." Kaerei was feelig quite... good. Extremely good. She was compelled to use her new powers... and she would... Soon enough... She turned to Medusa "Thank you, Snake Witch... I am in your debt..."

Medusa nodded, drinking the potion. She didn't feel any different, unlike Kaerei. She twinged a bit, then tried a "Vector Arrow...?" It came out gray and stabbed into a tree, instantly petrifying it by turning it into stone. Medusa smiled "... Hm... Vector Petrify..." She laughed a bit, then retracted her arrow, looking happily at Kaerei "Yes, you are in my debt. We will meet again in time, frog spirit, and when that time comes, you will be joining with me and we will cause havoc upon this place... And you will be able to have as many souls as you want. Hmhmhmhm... Well. I must be off then.... But before I go, something for your troubles..." She threw down a lily pad, but it seemed to be embedded with a hell of a lot of powerful magic "Well. I will be off. Vector Plate..." Medusa set a plate on the ground and launched herself in the direction of her forest.

With the magical pendent sealed with magic enhancing energy she got from the Reality, her power was far greater than anyone could imagine. "I would advise you hold on to something..." Medusa began to chant her mantra "Naaake snaaake... cobra cobubrra... Naaaake snaaak cobra cobubura... VECTOR PLATE!!!" The mountain began to rumble intensely. A large black arrow pointing north appeared directly under it, glowing a reddish color, meaning that it activated. The mountain rose from the ground, turning to point north, then was launched at an unfathomable speed in said direction, directly into the central part of the Depths.

Medusa's eyes narrowed as her vectors from her soul would embrace and pull in Kaerei, reverting her to a normal soul-looking form. With that, spiritual energy would flow all about Medusa. Medusa's dress became extremely tight and skimpy, her tassely thingies wrapping around and forming into a large snake-like beast attached to her waist and curled around her body slightly. Medusa grew taller, hair flowing over her now insane looking eyes, which were now ghostly. She snickered a bit... The transformation was complete...

The moment Mizune admitted her mistake, Eruka's facial expression changed to a snake-like demeanor. It seems as though Medusa was listening the entire time.

"Do not fret, Mizune... Even though you were unsuccessful in your mission, we can always go back to Shibusen after we take down Arachne... Just go and take care of Crona."

It seems as though Medusa was feeling rather... blissful at the moment.. Especially if she hadn't reprimanded for a failed mission... Hm. Something about this plan must be really good.

"While Mizune stays here and manages Crona... You, Eruka... Hmhmhm... You already know the plan. But who we need right now is... FREE."

She called out to him, the name echoing throughout every inch of the immense lair. She needed him now, it seemed.

"Oh, do not worry, Free, you will get your sleep.. Once you infiltrate Baba Yaga's Castle, you can sleep all you want... I just need you and Eruka to be my eyes and ears... You needn't do anything else..."

And then, Medusa left. She was already very tied up as it was with other affairs, so now Eruka was in control.

"Geko... Medusa-sama left markers that would lead us to Arachne's lair... Geko. But only I can see them because they're made of her special, invisible vector magic, Geko..."

Eruka would walk over to Free and grab his hand, vigorously pulling him to the exit.

"Well, Free, let's go~! We might as well do as she says, right?"

Otama Jackson would float over to Eruka and she would jump on top of him, flying toward the door.

Eruka continued to poke it, looking at Free's foot.

"Gekoooo... I just want to make sure it's dead... And that it doesn't come back up and eat me or anything.. You're an immortal, Free... You don't have to worry about things like that geko."

Eruka stood up, concluding that the body was completely and utterly dead. She gave a heavy sigh of relief.

"... Well... What do we do until Medusa-sama comes back..? I can't just sit here and do nothing... I want to go out and destroy stuff!"

A Tadpole Bomb would appear in her hand, floating slightly above it. Eruka would bounce it around in the air playfully, wanting to go explode something...

"... But we can't just leave this here geko... Who is going to watch it geko geko? Mizune is busy in Crona's room, watching her... I dunno what happened to that other cheeky guy... And the Kishin is the Kishin, he'd probably destroy the body gekori..."

She sighed, sitting down on one of the floating blocks, kicking her feet, thinking even more.

(We're going strictly by powers they had in the anime/manga. Now, if you go LEARN teleportation from someone, that's different. Until it's revealed in the manga, Free can't teleport here unless he goes to learn from someone. For all we know, he could need ALL of Mabaa's Spatial Magic to use that power.)

Eruka lowered her head slightly "Ge... gekori... Free... I don't think that's how Mabaa-sama's eye works... Geko geko."

She used her own power to bring Otama Jackson to the scene instantaneously and seemingly out of nowhere without any form of poof or smoke or anything... Mmm. No one knows how these familiars are made.. Oh well.

"Otama Jackson, can you watch Arachne's body while we're gone? It would be greatly appreciated!" Eruka started to pet Otama Jackson, and he would smile, nodding accordingly. He could defend himself thanks to the magical boost to Eruka... He was far larger than his original size...

Eruka smiled "Aww, I love you, Otama Jackson~!" She then turned to Free. "Well... Shall we go, Free?"

Reverting back to a physical form, Mederei had just gotten out of the battle with Fuuma Tera. It was intense and she aimed to kill him, but there was no time for that at that point... She needed to be back here with the body of Arachne. Besides... The wavelength of the Kishin should do sufficient damage to him.

Mederei noticed that Otama Jackson was watching after the body... Mmm...

"... Eruka and Free must be out doing something... I can monitor where Eruka is through my snakes... She seems to be collecting souls along with Free geko. Good... Now when they get back, there won't be any time to waste... Kaerei. You may have the body of this little girl from now on.. Because now, I have the body of an adult... My sister, Arachne."

With that, Mederei started to chant.

"Naaake snake... cobra cobubra.... Naaaake snaaaake cobra cobubra.... Soul Disperse."

She would move her entire soul from the child's body that she was originally residing in, and then move it into Arachne's body, possessing her soulless body and making it her own, since no other souls were in it.

The moment Medusa's soul hit Arachne's, it came to life... And was changed quite quickly to resemble Medusa rather than Arachne, since Arachne's soul was gone. The elongated face changed to a slightly larger face, the eyes becoming snake-like with narrowed pupils. Her hair stayed black like Arachne's, but instantly formed into the style of Medusa's original hair, the little snake-tongue curl and all. The long, spider-like dress instantly became a shortened hoodie-dress, mixing Medusa's trademark hoodie with Arachne's dress to come to a compromise between the two, and Medusa's vector snake tail sticking out in the back. Around the collar of her hoodie was a spider-web, signifying some traits of Arachne still applied to this body, which was basically good all the same for Medusa... For now she had a bit of Arachne's power within her own power.



"... Excellent... Well done, Eruka... Free..." she would say to them, even though they weren't in the area. Medusa was happy to have her own body back... Though she enjoyed Kaerei's power, she had gotten a little tired of being so cramped in that tiny child's body... it barely held Medusa's soul, so holding Kaerei's as well was difficult.

"... You know, if you wish, you may return to your swamp. You are a significant ally and I need you in your own environment. I will not hesitate to find you if I need you, however..."

Medusa had not yet looked at Kaerei's new form... But meh. She'd be fine.

Kaerei was finally in her own body... Even if it was the body of a little girl. Though, Kaerei could deal with this a lot more than Medusa could... Made her more flexible and agile, and less susceptible to attacks, since she was a smaller target. She was fine with this.

"Geko... Geko geko geko... Finally... I have my own body back... Gekori..."

Kaerei assumed her normal position of squatting down, looking creepily at the ground. As a little girl, she seemed to have large, cute frog gloves and a frog hat, both being a grayish black sort of color. Her hair was still long and silver, but was in pig tails, and her insane, menacing stare was more cute than it was creepy... And she wore a dress. Hm. Not only that, but she didn't have those flaps around her legs or waist she could extend or use as a parachute... Hm. But her dress could serve that purpose from now on. Everything about Kaerei was fine.

"... Gekori... If you ever need me, snake witch... You have my gratitude for that magic... and those souls... Gekogekogekogeko..."

And with that, Kaerei started to seep into the ground as if it were a liquid, as she hadn't done in so long, making her way back to the Black Swamp... Boy, it had been too long.

A little while after that, Eruka and Free were heading into the doors of the castle. Eruka would jump off of Free's back and run over to the woman who was standing on one of the blocks. It was Medusa....

"Medusa-sama! You look different... Your soul looks different, too...!"

Eruka could only assume that she had taken over the body of Arachne, since she didn't see it on the floor anymore. Ewwww.

"Geko? Wait, where's Kaerei? I liked her geko..."

(-Free would look at the appearance of medusa and knew what she had done, the only thing was was she able to use some of her sister's magic in the near future or not. As for the other being he sniffed the air as her scent was in the room. More then likely she went home. He said nothing waiting for his next orders. -)

Medusa looked at Eruka, then at Free. All she could do was laugh. She was in a great mood... She just laughed and laughed an laughed. She had her sister's body, she had an ally in Kaerei, her magic was insanely powerful, she had the Kishin Asura at her disposal and she had the Demon Blade, Waru as her weapon. Her plan... It was all coming together so well.

"... Eruka. Free..."

She turned fully around to face the both of them, then walked past them, seeming to be heading to another room.

"... You two may rest. You have been doing well for me... We'll kick up the rest of the plan soon."

Right now, what was on Medusa's mind was... Crona. She needed all of her forces if she were going to storm Arachne's castle... But naturally, she couldn't do it alone... Even with her powerful forces of the Immortal Werewolf, 2 Witches, her daughter and very powerful Kishin candidate, and finally, Akazuki Law... Wherever he was. Besides, Arachne had an entire army... And perhaps people more powerful than her army combined. This would take serious planning... She exited into the darkness in deep thought.

There was a crowd of men around a specific area, seeming to be blocking whatever was in the middle of them without anyone in Shibusen seeing. They had been doing this since even outside of the Shibusen gates, looking like this as they walked in. They made their way to the office of Shinigami, walking grimly through the ever so long hallway... until finally, they were before the presence of Shinigami, himself.

Officer: Shinigami-sama, we have a special delivery for you... The Snake Witch, Medusa has willingly given herself up to Shibusen so that she may talk to you. We have her restrained and under heavy security... Here she is...

The crowd of men would open up to what they were surrounding, it being Medusa, whose arms and entire upper torso except for her face being locked up and strapped up completely. She had a smile on her face and a very nonchalant look in her eyes... She was up to something.

"Shinigami-sama."

She greeted him politely.

Shinigami stared at Medusa, his eyes narrowing. At first he did not recognize her appearance, but then realized that it was definitely her by the shape of her soul and the power of her magic.

"... Medusa..."

Shinigami eyed her up and down, his eyes returning to normal, but he kept a serious tone.

"... My, you look different. What happened to you? What is your reason for wanting to see me?"

He was already very suspicious, but didn't particularly show it or sound as if he was. Instead, he tried to stay as calm, cool and collected as he possibly could with Medusa in his presence.

Medusa's face didn't change... It was a sort of an arrogant look hidden within her gentle smile as she began to speak again...

"... Oh, yes, I just inspected my sister's little abode... You remember her, don't you? The heretic that got away 800 years ago? Arachne~?"

She sounded almost condescending, patronizing Shinigami about how he let Arachne escape and stay alive for 800 years...

"... But enough about that. I willingly give myself up to you for one simple reason... I wish to join forces with Shibusen to take down my sister. I know her location, and if you agree to my terms, then I will gladly share them with you..."

Her eyes narrowed like that of a snake's. She could sense Shinigami's suspicion but did not pay any attention to it whatsoever. She knew what she was doing.

Shinigami was silent for a few moments, trying to think this entire situation through very thoroughly. Though, he was extremely shocked to hear about Arachne and Medusa knowing where she lived.

"... Arachne?... Hmmm... So you know where she lives? That is apparent, since you have her body... I can sense remnants of her soul on it... But if her soul is not within her body, then where is it?"

Shinigami was still hesitant to join forces with Medusa... She might have just killed Arachne herself and stole her body as a part of some cunning plan to infiltrate Shibusen... It was definitely not unlike her to do something so sly and sneaky... Though, Shinigami was very interested in her terms, even though he hadn't made up his mind yet.

"... Well, Medusa, what are your terms for this alliance?"

Medusa giggled lightly as if she didn't mind the bindings on her, her voice becoming slightly higher and cuter than it was... She always used that voice when she was being cunning and sly.

"... Well, mighty Lord Death, I only ask for a few tiny things... The first is to be let out of these uncomfortable bindings.. I know my place in here and in a conversation such as this, and I shall not do anything to jeopardize myself in this situation, you know... Hmhmhm.."

She was feeling a bit... restricted. And didn't like it.

"Oh, and by the by, I have her body because I found it lying around her castle.. I could feel her soul... It has grown very large and has taken in a lot of insanity... I am currently unsure as to where she is or what she is up to, however, because I hadn't seen her during infiltration..."

That one was the whole truth. Medusa truly didn't know about what happened to Arachne and was concerned, herself... But perhaps she could find out if she were to join up with Shibusen and infiltrate in larger numbers..

Shinigami didn't know whether to trust her story or not... But in actuality, he did remember that a meister of his, Hebi, had gone with Medusa to Arachne's lair undercover... But he hadn't been inside. Medusa had him there... They may have been able to locate Baba Yaga's Castle, but without the correct details of the inside of it, there was no way to know what to do or where Arachne was... It was foolish to go anywhere blindly.. And reconnaissance would only get them caught at this point, Shinigami knew... He was silent for a good 5 minutes.

"... Let her loose."

The officers were shocked, but quickly responded to Shinigami's order, unfastening Medusa's straps and buckles and letting her out of her binding restrictions.

"... What are your other requests, Medusa...?"

Once free, Medusa stretched out comfortably and sighed contentedly.

"Ooooh, how it feels good to be out of those cruel bindings~. You really are too much, Shinigami-sama~."

She was toying with him. Regardless of that, she was going to tell him the rest of her demands, since he seemed to be on board with her proposal... She was very happy.

".. Well. The first is to be granted immunity to attack from any Meister or Weapon, or anyone else associated with Shibusen... and this goes for my own little 'friends' as well..."

She absolutely needed that one... If she didn't bother them, she did not want them to bother her... especially if she were to be doing some 'experiments' soon...

"... Also, I would like to lead a squad in the mission to infiltrate the base, since I know it the best. And can you make sure that they listen to me completely? I cannot have any rebellious units..."

That was two of her demands, but she still had two more.

"The third is to be able to come in and out of Shibusen while Baba Yaga's Castle is still inhabited by Arachne... And finally..."

This one was the one she needed most... She wanted to see if Shinigami would allow her this one or if she would have to sneak in, herself...

"... To have access to Shibusen's Secret Room... The storage room..."

She knew what lay dormant in Shinigami's collection below the school... or rather, she knew of just a smidge of what was down there. She wanted everything else... Whatever was down there, she wanted to know it. She awaited Shinigami's response, being very nervous despite her confidence... She knew that Shinigami was unpredictable, even in such a situation as this... He could actually kill her dead right now if he wished it...

Shinigami pondered each and every request thoroughly, coming up with a counter argument to some of them. He would look Medusa directly in the eye with the utmost seriousness and malice.

".. I can only grant you full immunity until you actually pose a threat to Shibusen or do something to betray our trust... If you do something that is even slightly suspicious, we will have the right to kill you on the spot. Do not think you are safe just because you are allowed to move around a little. You're still a snake in a cage."

Shinigami turned his head to the side reluctantly, not even wanted to look at her anymore.

"... Since you do know Arachne's base better than any of us, I will allow you to command the squads, however you will be under the supervision of a high ranking Meister, as well. Also, I will only allow you to lead if you promise to find our missing... Student. Fuuma Tera."

It had been a long time since Shinigami had even heard from Fuuma, but he knew that Fuuma must have been in Baba Yaga's Castle.. It was the only explanation. Besides, Miya would be going on this mission as well, so she would be needing to get her partner back.

"... Your third request... can be done as long as you are constantly monitored by at least one of the high-ranking people here at Shibusen... Always monitored. I will not allow them to let you out of my sights, or your friends..."

Shinigami knew that if she was roaming around Shibusen, she'd be poking her nose where it didn't belong... and she would have to be executed then and there.

"... And as for the last request... I cannot allow you down there. That is for personnel only. Not for the eyes of anyone but myself and my personal Death Scythes and teachers. I cannot agree to that one. Do not ask me further on the matter."

Shinigami's tone suggested that he was not asking her... but telling her in a way that he knew she would have no choice but to obey, lest she suffer the consequences.

"... Otherwise, we will agree to your terms if you agree with mine, Medusa..."

He didn't feel right, but it was for the good of Shibusen... This alliance would do more good than bad in the long run, Shinigami thought, so there was no true harm as long as Medusa and her friends were monitored...

Medus smiled... those were good terms, considering the conditions of the situation. She liked them all, even if she couldn't get down into the basement...

"... Alright then, Shinigami... Those are the terms and I accept them... So that means, you do, too? Hm. Great..."

Medusa continued to smile, trying to contain her happiness.

"... I ask that you put up a mission in the mission boards.. I will assess any of your students interested in joining me along with my allies... And maybe even some witches from the Witch province, too. Once I am sure that they are ready, we will depart. Is that okay with you, Shinigami-sama~?"

Medusa needed to know what the students could do. Most likely, the strongest would accompany her in the mission, and if they did, Medusa needed to know what they could do and how to effectively counter their attacks and abilities... And so she would 'train' them.. Hmhm.

That was when Medusa started talking about training his students... She did have intel on what they were up against, so it wasn't like there was no room for her to train them... But he still couldn't trust her at all.

Medusa turned as Shinigami did, knowing that he was going to report to the Mission List to put up the mission. She started to walk, the officers moving out of her way... And that was when she knew that all of this was real. She really did have immunity to being attacked and all access to Shibusen... She started to laugh. She laughed loud, proud and arrogantly as she walked out of the office. This was only the beginning...

Medusa made her way back to her lair after the meeting with Shinigami at Shibusen, and she had the largest smile of happiness and evil on her face. She was still laughing as she entered the door.

"Eruka. Free. Mizune. Law. I have wonderful news..."

Of course, those 4 were the current people part of her little gang, save for Crona and the Kishin. Regardless, those 4 were her enforcers and would accompany her infiltration of Shibusen and Arachne's lair. She waited for the 4 of them to appear before her so that she could explain the latest plan.

(-Free would of course be the last to arrive. He had just finished from his nap. Really he hadn't have the chance to do anything since the last mission he was on and was getting on edge. Upon walking in the first thing he noticed was Medusa's smile and wondered what the news she had to say. So he stood there by Eruka waiting on a response.-)

Her smile did not fade, even after waiting for everyone to arrive. She closed her eyes and still kept on chuckling to herself.

"... Aaaah... It is perfect... Shibusen has accepted us in. We are in an alliance with them."

She waited for the initial shock before she continued without waiting for them to give their 'what's' and 'why's.'

"... We have information that they need... And as long as we lead them through Arachne's lair, we can freely go in and out of Shibusen... Not only this, but none of them can touch us until Arachne is dead... Meaning we are free to not only spy on them, but go through their records..."

Medusa tried to hold back her giggles of pleasure, but just could not. She needed that moment.

"... And we'll finally be rid of my dear elder sister... And if we play our cards right... We can get down into the depths of Shibusen and see what Shinigami's been hiding... All we have to do in exchange is 'train' those Shibusen brats!"

Of course, Medusa could sneak through the underground of Shibusen undetected, as well as Eruka and Mizune, however Eruka and Mizune would probably not be powerful enough to stop anything that came their way.. even with the power boost. They would also cause too much of a racket. Free was too large and Law was too reckless.

"... I will explain this simply for you... Law, Free, Mizune. You three will be issuing the 'training' for the students to distract them while Eruka and I infiltrate the basement for some goods... When the training of them all are complete, we shall depart to kill my sister... And because the Shibusen students will be so tired from fighting Arachne and her army... We can take my sister's soul and the souls of the students all at once... Mhmhmhmhm..."

It was all too great. Everything was going magnificently for Medusa... The Kishin was in her possession.. She couldn't be touched by Shibusen.. She was about to learn secrets about Shinigami and Shibusen... and Arachne was going to die.

"... Grab anything you need. We're leaving immediately" she would say abruptly, walking out of the door. She seemed almost.. impatient. How unlike her.
