Tabrynth, a mystical dimensional series of pyramids spontaneously appeared, hovering midair and folding in on itself several times over, seemingly seeking a form to take on.

Tabrynth suddenly stopped moving, lowering its voice down to a normalized radio wave. "Is this better?" Tabrynth asked through Omocha. "I'm not anyone to fight, really," he insisted. "It's good to meet you, though. I am Tabrynth." Slowly, Omocha began to glow and shift into a different form; that of a pitch black crystal that hovered in the air. It gave itself a face through prismatic alterations around itself and gazed at everyone, hovering in midair. "I can also hear your brain waves," it added on, seeming to have more to say about itself. "So I know what you are thinking. I can adapt to a different form." With that, Tabrynth would shift into a different being entirely.

Tabrynth appeared in the midst of the ongoing actions as a black crystal that hovered in the air. When it omitted waves from itself, sound could be heard inside of the heads of those within resonance radius. "You Have Made Contact With Us," the black crystal said. "We Are Not Your Enemy."

Tabrynth awaited the frazzled creature to cease. Once done, the black crystal spoke again. "You Have Made Contact With One From Our Dimension," its radiance bellowed, "I Have Come Because Of Previous Contact Made With Us. We Saw That You Bore Fear And Discord Upon Meeting The Discordant One. I Am Here To Ease Your Fears And Correct The Discord By Saying We Are Not Enemies." The sound that the black crystal made was something like the noise of a frequency that came from deep space, with words made intelligible through variable wavelengths synchronizing with the mind as to create the most suitable sound for comfortable communication.

Tabrynth complied immediately, its wavelengths already adjusting to meet the comfort of the brain waves that Remy harbored. The radiance of the black crystal would now sound like whatever he wished to hear. "Yes, it is well within my capability to accommodate your desires," the crystal omitted. "What of my form? Shall I shift to something more visually appealing to your taste?" Certainly, this was one of the more orderly beings from that dimension. "I am called 'Tabrynth'. I am from the same dimension as the black cat is. She is the epitome of discord, so the happenings prior are commonplace. We apologize on her behalf."

Tabrynth reacted to the waves that came from Remy's pain -- all of them. The feedback was a neutralizing pulse that seemed to sedate the mind and nullify senses of pain. "Oh my. I do hope that you are alright," the Tabrynth uttered. "If not, my wavelengths have synchronized with yours through your speech and brain. It is how we are communicating. Through it, I am capable of removing pain from your senses in order for you to tend to your injury." The speech of the crystal seemed monotonous, however that was to avoid unnecessary stimulation. "The discordant one is well capable of apologizing, herself. In our dimension, she knows not to cause havoc anymore and is thusly tamed."

Tabrynth hovered closer, a comical bead of sweat rolling down its... Crystalline form. "P-Pardon me!" Tabrynth said, "It would be best for you to inform me of what is most comfortable for you in terms of our interaction, and I will simply comply." That was how the Tabrynth was, in its base form. Suddenly, though, the tone became monotonous and serious, a certain tension emanating in the area because of the crystal. "Our rules do not apply to other dimensions, and we all know this is painfully so," Tabrynth went on to say. "That said, it is legal for the traversing of alternate dimensions with differing laws in order to acquire one's way. This does not make her correct, it simply makes her legal, both in our dimension and the one passed into. She cannot be forced. We know why she leaves."

Tabrynth fell silent for a short while. "We refrain from getting involved in the specifics of parallel, alternate, or lesser dimensions more than we must. The laws differ too greatly. To her, it is no different than a human going out to a night club to let off steam. In truth, she is a rather strict and uptight individual that is a stickler for rules and laws. She is one who is known to tame others, in fact." The crystal gleamed. "Yet, the subject of one who is not present is neither here nor there. It is impolite to speak too much of others without their presence. However, if it is an apology you seek, we can make this happen as a sign of peace. We are not your enemy."

Tabrynth suddenly began to glow intensely, radiating with a high amount of heat. "Our laws are lenient. The law is to follow the laws of the realm you go to. If their laws are not broken and ours are not broken, there is no way to reprimand someone lawfully!" The crystal's form suddenly shifted, twisting and turning until its shape unfolded from the top down. It continued, "The justiciars of the realms visited are responsible for enforcement, just as ours are! We know how the dimensions are comprised!!" The unfolding crystal took the shape of a man in a violet, velvet suit -- the crystal was adorned in his chest, resembling a necktie. "Pardon me. Too much stimulation." He adjusted his sleeves. He now looked and spoke normal.

Tabrynth cleared his now throat. "Well, excuse me!" His brow furrowed only slightly. "I took this form so you could process my emotions more accurately with my facial expressions and body language! You know, like organisms do!" The crystal continued to glow. "The sincerity of the apology comes from not being forced by law nor by third party! That is what gives it substance. We know this -- we teach this. That is why, if she did apologizee, it would be sincere. Her altered form would decree that." Tabrynth was far more offended than the space captain was. His crystal gleamed rapidly and it seemed as if it were hurting him. His eyes watered and he burst into tears, suddenly withdrawing his form into the crystal and shattering to bits, which disappeared.

Tabrynth's sobbing could be heard.

Tabrynth's sobbing ceased.

Tabrynth gazed on from the dimension known as 'The Veritas' -- his homeworld. "Fascinating," he said to himself, his voice and expression completely devoid of emotion, "It seems as though they are beyond compromise. I sensed this. Further study may be required." The eyes of Tabrynth gleamed as the man calculated means of reconciliation. "A mere peace offering is not deemed worthy enough in that realm," he concluded. "Yet, what more could one ask for? Could it be... That they are like... The humans?" Tabrynth became unsettlingly silent.

Tabrynth did not wish to take no for an answer. He felt responsible for the actions of one of his own from the Veritas and really wished to make peace. He was not certain of how -- as the virtual enigma hadn't yet calculated -- but there was a certain glow in his crystal that told him that it was possible. There was no lawful way to interact with the captain nor his crew any longer; what he did not know was that word was law to some, and denying it meant... Something disdainful, indeed.

Tabrynth observes the new life form nearing the ship of which he was just banned. Curious, he wishes to interact with her. His only means from his home dimension is his crystal, which can send out feelings and synchronize with mental wavelengths -- for he is a crystal, in truth. However, he does not wish to stir the pot and further. Accidentally, his feelings push through, and a wave is sent with his thoughts and feelings across the land.

Tabrynth sensed it. The female picked up on his feelings. At that moment, she would be able to hear him speaking to her in her mind. "Hello!" the voice spake, "I am Tabrynth! Before I continue, are you part of this ship's crew in any way?"

vTabrynth was overjoyed. "A-another dimension! The Veritas! I am an interdimensional crystal that communicates using vibrations and wavelengths. That is why I can speak psychically and read your feelings. However, recently, actions from people from my world have brought disdain to those of this one. We are trying to resolve that. Can you help?"

Tabrynth released a wave of pleasure that should have made Xoraena feel the same level of pleasantry as he. "Joy! Thank you so very much! Maybe if all goes well, I will be able to reveal myself to you... But he was really mad at me and my people, you see. He would not even accept a peace offering."

Tabrynth became silent. "He never spoke his name to me, but he's the captain, and I refused to probe his mind because he seemed uncomfortable with it... I can sense thoughts and feelings by their vibrations. Because I am a crystal." Before the eyes of Xoraena would be a Dimension Gate; a simple wormhole looking portal. In it was Tabrynth, in human form, in his violet suit, with a black crystal at his chest looking like a necktie There was empty space behind him. "Hello, formally!" he said with his mouth. "A formal introduction, face to face. I do not wish to be impolite..."

Tabrynth laughed, his crystal gleaming in rapid succession with his mood. "I would certainly hope so! Not everyone here is so friendly... At least, to me and my kind. Nearly on the brink of hatred, despite our efforts to be pleasant. So, I found it orderly to bring a peace offering, however, feeble emotions got involved and..." Tabrynth sighed, lowering his head and letting his lavendar hair spill over a single eye, "... Here we are."

Tabrynth could sense hesitation -- visually see it, as well. This disheartened him and he immediately retracted his offer. "No, if you do not know him and are uncomfortable, I do not wish for you to do so. I am certain there is another way to make peace." Tabrynth raised a gloved hand to his chin and hovered in place, kicking a leg up over the other. "Well, I won't bother you any longer. If you wish to speak to me, however, I am watching this dimension from mine own. I will be able to see, hear, and feel you." That said, Tabrynth raised a hand, smiled, and waved, he, himself awaiting any parting words that Xoraena may have had... Or didn't have.

Tabrynth's crystal lit up at the words, as shown by the expression on his face, which gleamed just as brightly as his crystal. "Oh, thank you, miss... Um...?"

Tabrynth returned the smile, his form dissipating into virtual matter as he felt her emotions... Leaving only his black crystal core. "Thank You... Rae..." Tabrynth showed his true form before taking on a different form he only took when he was happy -- that of a jesterly figure. Still adorned in a royal purple, the crystal was embedded in the stomach of the jester, whose purple-patterened attire was like skin. He giggled a bit, then placed his fingers interlocked under his chin. "You are sweet... And cute, too~!" He laughed a bit.

Tabrynth's head detached and rotated upside down, the face still smiling as the body rotated in the other direction until both were upside down, the head reattaching through what looked like virtual matter. "Virtually anything, my dear," Tabrynth said confidently. "I normally assume a form most pleasant or comfortable to the one I am dealing with, but my preference is that of my professor's form or this jesterly form, when I am feeling lofty in my heart and joyous." He tapped the crystal on his stomach, "But this black crystal is my true form... And my weakness."

Tabrynth laughed, his body completely dissipating in a flash. The crystal hovered before Xoraena and omitted a pulse that said directly into her mind, "I Trust You." Soon afterward, around the crystal, the small body of what looked to be a sprite with technologically advanced seraph wings formed around it as well as long, slender, cord-like tendrils that extended from the back, and capped off with a spunky black horned hat. "This was my original form before I evolved," he said. "Cleff is my name. I was the last of my people -- the Technology Sprites -- before I found out how to asexually reproduce."

Tabrynth batted his eyes, blushing a bit and raising his now nubby arms up to his round head where his cheeks were. "I-if you like..." he said shyly, turning away midair just a hair. "I eat data and electricity to survive -- rather, I used to. Once I became a crystal, I could generate my own energy and no longer needed to feed from outside sources, and it gave me the power to change my form into virtually anything... Emphasis on the 'Virtual'." He chuckled a bit. "I come from the Veritas. It's my home world. Originally, I came from the Data Realm, but I found out through a backdoor that it's connected to an entire extra dimension I never knew about -- my home world, the Veritas."

Tabrynth squeed with happiness. This was one of the only times he'd gotten a positive response from someone here. "You really think so?" he asked bashfully. "We have elementals where I come from. We have... EVERYTHING where I come from. Any and every type of creature imaginable... It's a really beautiful place. Though, anyone would find their homeworlds to be so. Don't you think?" He smiled softly, still hovering in the Dimension Gate. "So, what about you? I'd like to know more about you, too!"
