Queen Archdeath stepped out of a Dimension Gate, sharp eyes already scanning over the area. "Hmm... A rather rudimentary place..." she muttered to herself. "I honestly do not see what Father sees in this place..." The strange woman wearing French gothic lolita and various spider-themed accessories glanced at the two sitting and cleared her throat. "Good day," is all she said to them, refusing to sit down.

Queen Archdeath had yet to meet anyone other than Leo and the fox girl, but they seemed friendly enough. It wasn't so farfetched to hear that it was fun and that people played with her here. "That is good to hear," Queen Archdeath said. "No one makes you sad or mistreats you, correct?"

Queen Archdeath split open a slit in the dimensions, tearing it open with her wings and forcing her way through with a flap. She'd come to this peaceful place to get away from her problems in the Veritas, since there had just been a war recently. She was displeased with very many things, but didn't let on during her time in Rainbow Bay before. It was only now that she was feeling the discontent the most. Hovering down on her graceful black dragon wings, she spotted the kindly servant man from before on the keyboard. With one swift motion, her spiderweb fan was before her face and covering her lips, her piercing eyes the only things able to be seen. She touched the ground daintily, then cleared her throat, closing her eyes.

Queen Archdeath's eyes opened fiercely, revealing a load of malice that seemed to be well hidden in her body language. Fanning herself lightly, but swiftly, Queen Archdeath stepped forth slowly, wrapping her wings around her waist to form her dress. "... Comfort me..." is all that she said in response to what he asked. She didn't give any details, but her bloody red eyes screamed viciousness. Though, her voice did not.

Queen Archdeath hesitated to sit, for she was very tense about the situation at hand, but after a while, she found solace in Leo and sat near him in the pews. However, that was as close of contact as she would have from him, for when he sought to touch her, her hand tensed, of which she would retract to her lap. "I hate to be touched," she said sharply, eyes gleaming, "Much like my father used to be before he became so... Kindly to the world." She shook her head, gritting her teeth, though not visibly due to her well placed fan. "Before I came to this dimension, there was a worldwide war in the Veritas, my homeworld. The ungrateful masses turned against the royal family." Queen Archdeath sighed. "We settled them, of course, with force, but their impudence irritates my soul."

Queen Archdeath closed her eyes and lowered her fan, promptly closing it upon contact with her lap. She sighed heavily, then opened her eyes with a dreary, distant gaze into her hands. "You can listen..." she said, her regal tone somehow disappearing. "I'm tired. I may have all of the elegance and knowledge of a queen, but I'm still new to it all, despite having ruled over my land for quite some time. I don't usually reveal this side of myself to anyone, since I keep up my queenly stature nearly always, but before I was queen... I was a little girl always looking toward her father." She grasped one of her hands now, seeming tense still. "I felt like I failed him when the world revolted... Certainly, it was against us all, but I, personally, felt the weight..."

Queen Archdeath was a Tensei. She could feel and very much see the energy of Leo simply by wavelengths alone. She knew what he wanted to do. "... As you may or may not know, my family has a series of different forms that we call 'Restrictions', which determine our being. In most of my forms... I'm dead. My original form is still alive, and this form is one I created for myself, so it's not my true body... But my true body has been converted into a power core for Mechanica, one of my other forms. I'm not the original Mechanica, but I share a form with her, now. My dead spirit rests in my army of machines and my fabricated vessels." Much of that probably didn't make much sense to Leo, but she was venting. "My father... Gave me Mechanica... The whole city."

Queen Archdeath suddenly laughed. She didn't just laugh -- she cackled. One of her more maniacal traits she acquired from her father inherently. "Oh, no, you couldn't be more wrong! I simply LOVE it! I enjoy terrorizing people as a spirit, and I enjoy having total dominion over an army of machines and an entire planet that serves as the family's primary business. I was thrilled to have made myself the core that day. It was a special gift from my father and grandfather, who created and owned the business." Thinking fondly of these things made Queen Archdeath feel better, but not in a way she supposed was 'normal'. Her gaze veered off to the side. "I'm not as kindly and sweet as I was when I was a child... I grew to be just like my father, like I always wanted..."

Queen Archdeath straightened up, now returning to a more regal exuberance, her queenly composure coming back. "You are forgiven. A common mistake; it is only natural to assume the normalcy of others in another." Her eyes shifted to their corners, gazing at Leo from them, "However, it is good to note someone who is abnormal and not make such assumptions. It could prove to be offensive." Feeling better, Queen Archdeath reached for her fan and spread it, placing it up near her face again. "If it makes you feel better, my father has changed... For the better, others would say. I'm the one that is no longer in his image, but I like who he was more than who he is. Yet, I will always love him more than anyone." The thoughts of her father calmed her.

Queen Archdeath was feeling better about the initial situation now and was done with speaking... At least, about herself. She was still benevolent, despite being rather twisted and sadistic, thus leading to the question, "What of you, Leonidus? I've spoken so much of myself, yet... I know next to nothing about you. You aren't just a servant that has no other purpose or meaning. What is your backstory?" Queen Archdeath seemed genuinely curious now that she was in a sedated mood.
