The $yndicate Chapter 4; Party City

It was a bright, beautiful day in the 'Mezzo Villa, The Central City Of Delta'. Resting just above the Dusk atop a large cliff that stretched into the 'Crystal Ridge', -- the entire combined land mass being known as 'The Mezzo Terra' -- the 'Central City Of Delta' was the city known for its rather festive, yet refined nature.

It was a modern, urban looking city; not like the Dusk, which was rather futuristic. Certainly, Dusk technology was available and mass produced all across the Veritas, but the continent of the 'Delta' -- which was the 'Mezzo Terra' -- had its own personal charms. One of the main attractions was 'Pandemia, The Pandaversity Of Epic Art'. It was the largest education system in all the Veritas, and the most prominent. Though it taught many things, it was also secretly a giant transforming mech.

But that's neither here nor there.

The university wasn't around the city when the Dark Messenger appeared from the Dimension Gate, which made the entire city look smaller, since the school took up a large part of the city when it was set back in place. It was one of the few more prominent buildings in the land, but it wasn't the only one. There was another; the 'Delta Security Forces' building. This place was another extension of the $yndicate -- the Delta Branch. Like the Dusk Branch, aptly called the Dusk Security Forces, the Delta Security Forces protected the Delta territory under the advisory of the Royal Family. Their building looked rather formal and regal -- not like the mansion-esque office building that harbored the Dusk Security Forces.

There were roman columns all throughout the interior, giving it a somewhat European element, but there were also traces of traditional Japanese style art along the great walls of the Delta Security Forces building. The Dark Messenger floated in through the front doors and down several empty hallways.

After some time of wandering, the Dark Messenger was greeted by a small panda wearing a graduation cap and an oversized gown, smoking a pipe and bearing a monocle. This was Professor Panda, of the Perfect Panda Pack of the Delta. "Greetings, Dark Messenger! How I have anticipated your arrival! I am Professor Panda, and I am the head of the $yndicate in the Delta. We have been ready to receive our instructions ever since the Dark Messenger crows showed up before."

"Very good," the Dark Messenger said to Professor Panda. "The Creator wishes for us to further develop the Veritas, and we have been successful in expanding Valparaiso, the Depthsroot, and the Dusk."

Professor Panda stroked his chin with his sleeve-covered paws, pacing about cutely. "Further development, eh? Hm. Well, where do we start?"

Dark Messenger: "The 'Purlieu'. Much like the Twilight Wilderlands is to the Dusk, the 'Purlieu' is the outskirts of the Delta, and has not been colonized much. The entire 'Purlieu' connects to the 'Crystal Ridge' of the 'Mezzo Terra', which creates the outskirts on this layer. We want to expand our influence into the Purlieu so that we may establish government on the Crystal Ridge."

Professor Panda thought. "Hmmm... Well, it sounds like that could be beneficial. I will arrange for the $yndicate to embark at once." So, Professor Panda informed the Delta Security Forces of what the mission from the Dark Messenger was, which led them to heading into the wilderness of the Mezzo Terra.

The party trekked out into the second layer of wilderness in the Veritas. On the lowest layer, where the Dusk was, the Twilight Wilderlands made up the surface of the planet as well as the Myst Continent. On the second layer, up closer to the sky, the Crystal Ridge completely surrounded the Crystal Tree, and the Purlieu extended outward, completely encasing the planet in a crystal clear protective shell. The Myst which made up the atmosphere was contained underneath the Crystal Ridges and Purlieu, but the encasement was clear so the light could shine through to the surface layer below the ridges.

The land shared much terrain, but the majority was either plains or crystal earth. Out in the plains, the Delta Creatures that traversed the outskirts roamed freely.

Unknown to the Delta $yndicate, the Veritas was actively observing the quest since she found out about it back with the Dusk. She wouldn't reveal herself to the $yndicate yet, but in order to expedite the process, she would have her Delta Creatures come to greet them on her behalf.

Delta Creatures could be seen everywhere, having populated the outer lands thoroughly. There were all types, but they all minded their own as the $yndicate passed.

That is, until a flock of 'Chicken Wraps' noticed their presence.

'Chicken Wraps' were large 'Avian' creatures that were essentially giant mummified chickens with incredibly large and thick chicken legs. They lived out in the plains and were rather adept fighters. Normally more hostile and territorial, one of the Chicken Wraps curiously wandered away from the flock to go interact with the $yndicate. Its eyes were pitch black sockets and bandages fluttered from its body in the wind. The giant chicken-mummy inspected the group cautiously.

The Delta $yndicate stood before the Chicken Wrap, all of them intrigued by its behavior. The units of the Delta Security Force that were dispatched were Gii, Good Samaritan Chicken, Pant-O-Mime, and Black Tama.

Gii was a Legendary Princess made perfect by the hand of the Creator. The Good Samaritan Chicken was a mythical kaiju chicken with three smaller heads that stretched from its tail feathers, could breathe vaporization breath, and pooped fire. Pant-O-Mime was a very tall, very melancholic mime with many void-like attributes all over its monochromatic body. And Black Tama was a small anthropomorphic black tadpole wearing black and red gauntlets, boots, and a helmet.

Suddenly, Professor Panda appeared on a holographic screen. "Ah yes! This is a Chicken Wrap, team. They are normally a feisty bunch, but it seems like this one has taken an interest in us. Maybe it's because we have a fellow chicken on our team? Hahaha. Good Samaritan Chicken, use your goodwill-nature to communicate with your fellow chicken and see what brings it over here."

Naturally, the Good Samaritan Chicken obeyed. Now, the Good Samaritan Chicken was as large as a skyscraper. It towered over the little Chicken Wrap without a doubt, but with a gruff cluck, it would try to communicate with the Chicken Wrap to ask it about its interest in the group.

Under the influence of the planet, the Chicken Wrap would be enticed to interact with the Good Samaritan Chicken. The Veritas herself adjusted the wavelengths in the air to be extremely malleable, as to make it so that when one made noise, it would translate naturally based on distortions in the waves. Likewise, when one thought intensely, those waves would be projected outside of the mind and into the atmosphere, allowing one to audibly hear one's thoughts. With this, the $yndicate and the other Delta Creatures could communicate with each other... And the Veritas.

But she would keep quiet for now.

When the Chicken Wrap heard the Good Samaritan Chicken, it looked somewhat surprised for a moment or two. Then, after what happened with the Veritas' atmosphere, its thoughts could be heard. "You are a powerful being, o Great Chicken. With your mighty talons, I believe that you can scratch out a new age of chickeny goodness across the land and reign over the Chicken Wraps with an almighty chicken wing. Let us serve you, o Great Chicken, that we would be of some use to your cause."

The other Chicken Wraps crept closer to the Good Samaritan Chicken, all of them bowing down to it as if honored by its presence.

After hearing what the Chicken Wrap said, the $yndicate turned to the Good Samaritan Chicken and looked at it with quirked brows. "What did you even say to them?" asked Black Tama.

The Good Samaritan Chicken turned its enormous head back to the $yndicate, gazing at them with its low, tired eyes. "Mrrrr..." it groaned, as if pained, "I simply said that the $yndicate is here to bring government to the wilderness, and that was his response to that."

When everyone understood the Good Samaritan Chicken clearly, they were rather astonished.

Gii: "Woah! I didn't know you could talk!"

Good Samaritan Chicken: "I cannot speak your language. Something is tampering the the air waves. You should not have been able to understand this Chicken Wrap."

The group conversed for a bit, then looked to the Chicken Wrap. They all agreed that they could use the help of the Delta Creatures, so they had the Good Samaritan Chicken lead the flock of Chicken Wraps out deeper into the field, where they would begin on a governing structure.

"Government, Hm?" the Veritas suddenly asked, her words clear as day, "Don't You All Know That There Are Already Governing Elements In Nature As Is? What On Earth Could You All Possibly Be Trying To Govern? Especially Since You Do Not Know The Nature Of This World!?" The Veritas sounded angry by what the $yndicate said, but she knew that this was all to the will of her father, who was the Creator. Even so, she was a bit upset that these changes were happening that she wasn't doing to herself. Though one could call it some form of puberty for the Veritas, it was still rather annoying to go through these changes that she'd never before experienced. "If You Can Manage To Find A Method Of Government That Is Better For The Delta Than What Is Already In Place, I Will Establish It As Law." This was the vow of the Veritas.

After the Veritas spoke, the Chicken Wraps seemed scared. "Oh! Oh no! What was that?!" questioned the closest Chicken Wrap, "How are you all able to understand me?! Who was that heavenly woman speaking?!" It and the other Chicken Wraps seemed frazzled at the voice of the Veritas. However, over time, they were able to feel the Veritas in a more intimate way, which calmed them down and 'Harmonized' them with the natural waves of the Veritas Planet.

As such, they were able to understand what she was thinking more clearly, and they became docile again. "Mmm... Nevermind. I know where that voice came from. It is from the wild itself. The planet is speaking to us. We should do as the planet says." The other Chicken Wraps agreed. They followed the $yndicate, but the main Chicken Wrap said to them, "The planet is right. We do have our own form of government. Only the Great Chicken would understand us. What do you believe that you can do for us, other creatures?"

It was rather unusual for the Veritas to speak, but the $yndicate didn't seem fazed by it at all. Professor Panda appeared on the holographic screen again, saying to the $yndicate, "Remember what I taught you about governments! First, understand your environment and its flaws, then organize a system based around the resolution of these flaws through proper management, guiding society through regulated evolution."

The $yndicate heeded Professor Panda and started to think. It wasn't long before the Good Samaritan Chicken spoke up again. "... The way of the chicken is delicate. The chicken must learn to awaken those who sleep, fight against the forces of evil every day, and become fodder for all. Chickens establish their territories based on levels of aggression to create a social order, and it has been this way since the age of chickenry. As such, it is not wise to incorporate other forms of government which disturb the natural order of the chicken... Or any other creature, in fact."

But, Gii had something to say about that. "You have a point, Good Samaritan Chicken," she said, "But look at the $yndicate! You guys are animals that have adapted to and adopted outside governments. Because of that, you all are highly evolved and developed. Don't you think that Professor Panda would understand that as well, since he's obviously a panda? Sometimes, there are gains from going beyond the natural order... Often times the birth of something new."

"Mm, you make a logical point, Legendary Princess," said the Good Samaritan Chicken. "I, even I, am an anomaly among chickenkind, for I am both a giant and a mutant. I am only the way I am due to the circumstances of my birth... And, without an opportunity to grow... There can be no more like me." With new understanding, the Good Samaritan Chicken addressed the Chicken Wraps that were following the $yndicate. "My chickeny kin. I beseech you make an attempt to learn the ways of the $yndicate. What we can teach you may lead you to further evolutionary developments that would not occur given your current conditions."

Professor Panda: "Yes, Chicken Wraps! Please understand us! And, even more so, Planet Veritas! I know you can hear and understand us, so listen to what we have to say... And in return, we will listen to you and help you create whatever we decide on. We could use your suggestions and intel about how the native life functions and what is best for them. How does that sound to everyone?"

Surprisingly, no matter how adorable they looked, the $yndicate sounded rather put together. The Veritas was impressed. "Ohhh, So Someone Is Educated, It Seems! Well Then! I Would Love To See What You Lot Can Do!" It seemed like she was on board with the plan now after they proved their intelligence to her. Still, it was clear that they needed her, as they were not aware of what it was like in the wilderness, and the Veritas had been watching her lifeforms since conception.

"Oh My! You Are Asking For My Assistance?" she asked them. "Hmmm, Well, The Chicken Wraps Are A Type Of Terrestrial 'Avian' That Roams Jungles And Plains. Their Natural Order Is Rather Aggressive Normally, But... If You Wanted To, You Could Set Up Something More Communal." The Veritas thought for a bit, watching the group. "... Although... I Really Do Think That This Is More Complex Than Setting Up Separate Governments For Whatever Species You Come Across. You Would Have To Set Up Something That Affects The Entirety Of The Wilderness. Why Not Try Using The Government That The Me-Ou Has For The Delta?"

The Chicken Wraps were more than compliant with the forces at work here and were ready to assist. "It would be an honor to help you all, Great Chicken. Tell us what we must do, and we will do it." They were even more eager to help after hearing the Veritas speak again. "May the planet guide our every action..."

What the Veritas was suggesting resolved the issues that the $yndicate knew they would face if they tried to do this alone, especially since the Laws were already established the way that they were for a reason, so that they could apply universally. It was understood that the Me-ou's laws had not been enforced out in the Wilderness beyond the Party City. This meant that the creatures out in the wild were unexposed to the methods that the creatures in the $yndicate became adapted in order to function both as a guard and also a syndicate for the Veritas.

"Yes... It is a splendid idea!" shouted Professor Panda. "I will go find the Me-ou and see if she will set up the Law of the 'Mezzo Villa, The Central City Of Delta' here in the Wilderness."

Meanwhile, the rest of the $yndicate waited patiently for Professor Panda.

Before Professor Panda could reach the Me-ou, a projection of her appeared before the $yndicate, as if she was already prepared or forewarned about her necessity to the scenario. Professor Panda was also brought up on one of her screens, where he would now be visible instead of just audible. "No Need, Professor," stated the Me-ou, whose long, straight, blond hair framed both her face and the outermost layer of the screen, "I Have Intercepted The Communication And Come Of My Own Accord."

The Me-ou cleared her throat, then began to speak. "Good Work Coming This Far, $yndicate. From This Point, I Will Be Assisting You, As Per The Information I Have Collected From Your Previous Thoughts. Naturally, You've Been Monitored This Entire Time Given The Nature Of Your Party And The Intentions Of The Mission, So It Was Well Within My Necessity To Be Up To Speed With The Extent Of Your Endeavors." It seemed that the Me-ou had some manner of knowing about anything that went on within the Delta, even without being present, but no one truly knew what that method was. They could only assume that it had something to do with how her screens could appear instantaneously anywhere within the vicinity, but surely it was much more intrinsic than that.

"My First Point That I Am Going To Make Is That In Order To Expand The Government Without Disturbing The Wildlife Or Any Other Parts Of Nature Is Going To Be First Incorporating Them Into The System. This Means To Merge The Two And Adapt, Not To Override One Or The Other. Each Of You Is Tasked With Finding Your 'Kin' In The Wildlife And Being Our Advocate To Them, Easing Each Of Our Systems Into A Healthy Blend. This Will Bring The Wildlife Under Our Protection And Also Allow Us To Better Preserve The Habitats, Making Them Suitable Both For Them And For Us." She knew that the main objective of many of the Instruments was to bond with Souls, either through reaping and ingesting them or by forming resonances with them, which counts toward their 'Soul Count' and boosts their power. Thus, in an effort to keep them from deciding to reap entire populations haphazardly, the $yndicate would be allowed dominion over their own kind out in the wilderness. "By Extending Our Presence Directly Into The Wildlife Population, We'll Be Able To Better Control The Environment As Well As Any Interaction Between The City And The Wilderness, As To Not Let Either Grow Destructively Out Of Control." The Me-ou knew how this task was handled in the Dusk, and she wished to try a less... Domineering approach, considering the wildlife of the Delta and of the Dusk varied severely. "See To It That You Do As Little Damage To The Ecosystem As Possible, As We Are Not Trying To Damage It, But Better It For The Sake Of The Government Of All Life Here."

The Veritas felt much more at peace once the Me-ou, who was her designated Ruler over the Delta region, stepped in and took command overseeing the project. What occurred down in the Dusk had woken her up abruptly, and also many things were changing all around the planet. It was only proper that the Rulers of each land get involved, despite how the $yndicate was designed to cover such things on their own. Without a head, even if they had their initial primary orders, they would end up getting sidetracked, or not accomplishing the task to the most optimal standards. This wasn't to say that they could not handle their tasks on their own, but if spread too thin, they would be less effective. Therefore, each of the factors, including the heads of the $yndicate, needed to be in operation, and no faction needed to be left out.

The soul of the planet harmonized with all of the naturally flowing wavelengths of all life, especially those of the wildlife. Each one that roamed, she could feel as a group, and they would be able to feel her in a more finely tuned fashion now that her consciousness was on them. This would help all of the creatures move in tune with the Veritas Planet, and for all parties to work toward their homeostasis. Where the Me-ou oversaw the project, the Veritas oversaw the lives of all of the creatures on the planet. With her will within them all, they would all move in time with one another from thenceforth, and the process would become that much more natural to each party.

The powerful resurgence of waves through the atmosphere overwhelmed the wildlife population, who were only washed in these waves quite suddenly, jarring many of them initially. This brought them to a frenzy, as they were not aware of how to deal with such a change in atmosphere. They may not all have become violent, but their natural stirring was now more frenzied than normal, which accelerated their activities in such a manner. Instead of foraging periodically, they began to each do so in what perhaps could be seen as panicked, or even simply overdetermined. Those which would mate or hunt at their set times would do so with frantic, and those which were mobile would become overzealous.

Even the Chicken Wraps, who were present before the $yndicate, became riled up, scratching their chicken feet at the ground as if suddenly bearing a great deal of aggression. They clucked and squawked, fluttering their mummified wings in vigorous bursts. Some sort of bestial nature within them overpowered their conscious minds, and they reverted to more primal instincts. As all of the other creatures out in the wild became frenzied, so did the Chicken Wraps, who ran about in circles.

The Me-ou picked up on these fluctuating frequencies immediately, as well as the reception from the wildlife. The measurements were chaotic for a time, but eventually started to synchronize, though remained rather extreme in their wavelengths. She couldn't imagine that all of this was going to become stable naturally, but was made stable enough to allow them to do so if they intervened before things became discordant again. For a brief window of time, everything would be chaotic in a harmonious way before spiraling out of control in disharmony.

"We Have To Keep The Chicken Wraps Under Control First," the Me-ou finally said. "Little Do They Know, They Are Delicious And A Super Poultry Fowl, Which Means They Are An Ultimate Fodder, Even Before They Are Cooked. They Already Come Cooked As They Are, And They Are Eaten As A Delicacy. This Means That Introducing Them To A New Part Of The Ecosystem Could Get Them Prematurely Endangered, Possibly Even To The Brink Of Extinction. Once The Other Creatures Learn That They Are Not Only Delicious, But Are Born As Food, They Will Be Consumed With Haste." Such was the fate of being a living superfood. "Good Samaritan Chicken, I Expect You To Deal With Your Brethren And Any Threats Which Should Come About Them At This Time. The Rest Of You, Go Find The Nearest Frenzied Creatures And Calm Them, Integrating Yourselves Into Their Systems Whilst They Are Wild And Malleable. This Is What The Veritas Has Opened Up The Opportunity For Us To Do By Causing Such Fluctuations In The Wavelengths. With The Ability To Communicate With Each Of The Creatures As If Speaking Their Own Language, There Should Be Little Issue. Proceed With Haste."

As chaos ensued, the $yndicate was given orders to subdue, and they acted with haste. "Yes, Me-ou!" They each said with a salute, the lot of them taking off to assume their different tasks.

As per command, the Good Samaritan Chicken dealt with the most pressing issue, which was the Chicken Wraps running rampant and into danger. To round them up, it released its spawn, which were called 'Chicklets'. They were comparatively tiny chicks with detached floating heads, hovering bodies with no legs, and spiked chicken crowns. Their eyes were X's, and though they were small in comparison to the Good Samaritan Chicken, which was their parent, they were still just about the size of a regular car. They were, however, smaller than the Chicken Wraps, who were not as large as the Good Samaritan Chicken, but still quite large. The Chicklets which were released came out in great numbers, at least five to a Chicken Wrap, and they all sought to guide them out of harm's way by surrounding and 'steering' them, something like a convoy would.

As this occurred, the Good Samaritan Chicken took a few massive steps into the fray, letting the hydra chicken heads that were its tail arc over its body and begin unleashing their vaporization breath on any opposing hostile force as a warning. The three vicious chicken heads spewing such vaporization breath were careful not to severely injure or kill any other creature, but simply warded them off as the Chicklets gathered the Chicken Wraps.

Meanwhile, the remainder of the $yndicate went off to deal with the types of creatures most related to their likeness: Gii interacted with the Humanoids, Pant-O-Mime engaged the Fae, Black Tama, who had power over machines, controlled the Mechanica, and Professor Panda managed the Beasts through the use of the holographic screens. For the moment, each group was divided from one another, and they were given specific instructions on how they would coexist further. Each group communicated with their own kind, explaining in detail the government of the Delta, with room for the Me-ou to intervene or clarify should she so choose. With the Veritas allowing the wavelengths to be so malleable, those who did not speak each others' tongue would be able to hear and respond as if they did, making it that much easier during the mass fluctuation. Sooner or later, they would achieve stability, and from that would come a new type of homeostasis.

As matters unfolded, the Veritas continued to maintain harmony throughout, though it did not initially seem as such. Just as the Me-ou deduced, the best method of linking two systems together was to first cause them to become malleable and flexible towards one another, thus allowing for a more seamless integration. What seemed like chaos to them was actually just the natural disorder which occurred whenever such drastic changes happened in any ecosystem. Regardless of what people thought, a lot of the time, it required such controlled disarray in order to even introduce something new, as what was old usually worked to a degree of functionality where it did not allow the introduction or integration of something else very well until there was a level of discord that brought deformity to the systematic structure.

Even through all of this, the Veritas remained silent, and would allow the Me-ou and the $yndicate to finish their mission and witness the results. Unless there was some sort of drastic change that was so detrimental that it required the Veritas to resolve it, then it would be patient until the end. It seemed like they were all doing fine as it was, so she wasn't fazed in the slightest. It was all about letting nature take its course from here on out.

As surely as all of these things happened, from the assistance of the Good Samaritan Chicken to the further involvement of the $yndicate with the respected parties, the wildlife of the Delta remained discordant in appeasement due to the nature of the situation at hand. There was resistance at first along with clamor, as not all of the Delta Creatures were so very approachable, and their numbers were far greater than the measly folks of the $yndicate by a longshot, but it wasn't any of that which calmed them... It was the soothing wavelengths they felt from the very planet. They were capable of communicating and feeling in a way that was previously unknown to them, and it granted them the exposure they needed in order to grow as beings, even in such a rapid manner.

Now, by no means did this mean that the Delta Creatures were satiated, but it did mean that they were relatively sedated from their cacophony of behaviors. They settled, though they remained cautious, and they would heed the $yndicate as they became further in tune with the planet, and the Delta Creatures opened their minds and eyes and ears to the Me-ou and her crew... If only briefly.

"Excellent Work, $yndicate," spake the Me-ou once everything was as orderly as it could get at the moment, "I Suppose It Is Best To Press On, Now That I Have Your Attention." Around the main screen with the Me-ou's face, other screens appeared with information on it. The information, which was its own type of energy that bore its own wavelength, would be understood differently from all of the parties that received it, despite it being at a fixed value. This was because its wavelength was dependent on reception, and not its projection, despite the essence being absolute at core value. Therefore, with the Veritas harmonizing all of the wavelengths, all of the beings would understand the information in the most suitable fashion, granting a more intrinsic level of understanding among them all.

"Please, Intake All Of This Information, Then Alert Me When You Are Prepared To Move On. I Assure You That I Will Understand The Overtone Of The Situation." The Laws of the Veritas were perfectly legible to the residents, and though universal, applied to each being differently. "This Information Will Explain For You The Natural Laws Of The Veritas As Well As The Worldly Laws, So That You Will Be Well-Informed About What Goes On Here Amongst You All And Outside Of Yourselves." By first educating the Delta Creatures through basic introduction, it would gradually gift them the understanding necessary to continue further, whereas they may not have enough to proceed as they are, especially before actually being exposed.

With what the Me-ou did, even the $yndicate learned new things about the Veritas that they never knew. Granted, they weren't exactly told most of the things, but there were some things that were just universal or obvious. It didn't really seem like they needed to do much else here for the moment, as their Ruler was speaking and taking charge in the situation, so it was best to simply desist until given more instruction. They would keep bedlam at bay should it rile up again, and encourage focus on the Me-ou.

Like everything else should have been, the Veritas, too, was downloading the information from the Me-ou. Though the laws which were established were known to her, it was still important for her to ensure that they were effectively influenced in the wilderness, and at the moment it meant being able to help them understand whilst also understanding them simultaneously. This would be a learning experience for the Veritas, and she would be able to also help teach in return.

The transfer of information from the Me-ou to the Delta Creatures with assistance from the Veritas through the subdual brought on by the $yndicate had a greater impact than any of them initially believed. The Delta Creatures absorbed it all and seemed to take a rather intellectual standpoint in the reception, though it was unknown as to whether this was because of their own capacity or if the influence of the Veritas was to blame. No matter what, though, they ended up intaking the information and understanding it, recognizing the logic behind it and what the Me-ou was trying to establish. Their recognition of her laws resonated throughout each of the different groups of creatures, and they felt as though they could abide by these laws, especially with the perks involved, which were readily understood amongst them, as well.

The Delta Creatures rather unanimously agreed to the terms brought on by the Me-ou, since it meant that they would also be able to freely enter and exit the Party City known as the Mezzo Villa. They were curious as to what went on there, since they usually paid no attention to such trifles due to their nature in the wild. Now, with this greater information, they were introduced to the Mezzo Villa's laws, and thus could involve themselves in the city directly. Their consent should have been rather resonant among the Veritas, who could probably relay the information to the Me-ou, if it was not already recognized.

The unison of clarity amongst the Delta Creatures and the $yndicate was now apparent, and the Me-ou could testify to them. "Excellent," she praised, "Standby And Prepare Yourselves For Recalibration." Some very powerful effects were about to come over the Delta, from a powerful temporal flux to the potent energy generated all throughout the Veritas coupled with it. "Once This Shift Occurs, Much Time Will Have Passed Around You That Will Feel Like An Instant Whilst You Are All In Sync With The Other Events Going On, However Once That Synchronicity Is Broken After The Recalibration, You Will Return To Normalized Time." This was their warning to such an occurrence, which would help them make sense of the results that should occur as soon as the temporal flux completed.

"My Part In This Has Come To A Close, All," informed the Me-ou, "So I Shall Be Withdrawing For Now. You Can Handle Yourselves From Here." She gave them a chiefly salute as she bid them off. "And, $yndicate, Be Sure To Contact Your Cohort 'Brit Duck' And Instruct Her To Intercept An Outbreak In The Heart Of The Central City Of The Delta. I, Unfortunately, Must Take My Leave Immediately, As My Full Attention Is Necessary Elsewhere." Turning away from the holographic screen, she would pause midway through and state to them all, "Good Work," before the screen flickered out.
