The $yndicate opened up a Dimension Gate from the Veritas and sent an envoy in. A cute, kindly kitten wearing a knight's helmet, pauldrons, and armored paws with a steel coated tail. There was a flaming pinion sprouting from the back of his helm that flared larger than his body. Falling to the bench with a *clank*, the knightly kitten gazed at the person near him with enormous eyes.

The $yndicate's trio, splattered by the mess, stood in awe and ick for a moment or so before Fancy Monkey slung slop from his arms to the ground. "Ohhh... My new THING!!" Now, being a primate, he was still HIGHLY prone to instinctive and impulsive behavior. He began to hoot and screech, finally saying coherently, "I'LL SUE YOU!!!" The Good Samaritan Chicken did not at all seem fazed, but in fact, released tinier, car-sized 'Chicklets' with that hovered above ground and had detached heads. They were numerous, and they picked the chicken clean before heading to the dump and surrounding area, picking things about with their beaks. They were disposable, so they were an expendable source. "Are you all okay?" Regal Tophat asked sternly.

The $yndicate's Good Samaritan Chicken instantly knew what went on with its Chicklets, for they were a hive-mind. With a vast spread of its wings and a loud "BU-KAW!!" the giant chicken hydra let the Chicklets deteriorate into nothingness. They'd cleaned up... Something, at least. Now, Fancy Monkey and Regal Tophat understood the Good Samaritan Chicken, but Fancy Monkey was still upset about his ruined suit. "What's that?" Regal Tophat said, "It feels like a living organism?" Fancy Monkey looked up, "... I'll see you in court." With no more use for the Good Samaritan Chicken, since it was clear this heap was alive, it was awayed into a giant Dimension Gate. Fancy Monkey stood on a clearing near the drake, asking her, "Would you mind spraying me?"

The $yndicate's Fancy Monkey widened his eyes as he heard a voice come from the trash. "So, it IS alive? Or... Is it that there is something alive INSIDE?" The monkey pondered. "Or maybe... Both?" All points were feasible. Still, the cleansing mist of the water drake did wonders for Fancy Monkey and Regal Tophat, the leftover dew giving them a sparkling sheen. "Aha! Thanks again, my good madam! Sorely sorry for the mishap. I thought it right to have one of my boys try to clean up the mess, but... Seems like the mess is more than meets the eye, eh?" Fancy Monkey returned his focus to the garbage, Regal Tophat glaring intensely, as if searching for something... Or someone.

The $yndicate's inquisitive monkey continued to inspect the scene, even after someone emerged. It seemed like they were part of the mess, and deducing from that, they were the source. "I wonder..." Fancy Monkey mumbled. "Ah, sir! Pardon my rudeness, but... What exactly are you and what is this... Mess that you've brought with you? Are you linked to it? Is it alive? How do we fix it?" The many questions of the Fancy Monkey were brought to a halt by the Regal Tophat, which asked simply, "What happened?"

The $yndicate suddenly contacted the Fancy Monkey and Regal Tophat, giving them the spill on what the Good Samaritan Chicken picked up when picking through the trash. "Mhm..." he murmured to both his colleagues and the one speaking through the mess, "... I see..." he continued, speaking to both simultaneously. "Well, this isn't a task meant for me to handle, you see, however I can send you some assistance. Try to hold out a little longer, and I'll send another one of my boys in to get you." Fancy Monkey raised a pinky, literally for no reason. "Until then, we must be going now. Glad to know you are alive. Ah, do try to stay that way. Taa~!" A Dimension Gate opened up under them and they slipped through, heading back to the Veritas to regroup.

The $yndicate opened up a Dimension Gate from the Veritas and sent through one of the higher ranking officials that the Regal Monkey insisted inspect the Bay after what happened. Tall and surly, the fully bacon-covered creature bearing a piggy snout gas mask and a commander's hat tread loftily out of the portal. He stood silent, yet his heavy breathing through the gas mask let his presence be known more than the stink of raw bacon.

The $yndicate's pork-man turned his head to the right to look at the female, then to the left to look at the male, breathing heavily as he did so -- audibly so. He took his time to speak, but when he finally stopped ominously breathing heavily, he said with a somewhat muffled voice, "I am Lord Bacon, the Hog Kaiser. I am sworn to the pork. My duty here is to inspect an occurrence on behalf of the Veritas." He nodded his head, bacon strips wriggling a bit. "Greetings to you, natives."

The $yndicate's pig beast nodded again, swiftly turning, bacon robe flowing with his turn and releasing a vicious stench of rotting meat. Closer inspection could find that there was nothing underneath the bacon skin robe. He gazed with his soul-sucking eyes out into the distance and took a big, long sniff, snorting in the process. "... The Wicked Whiff." His technique and subject of comprehending distinct aromas. "... It has been here, but is no more," he said, turning back around slowly. "The souls of the fallen speak to me. What are you called, natives? You give us unrest."

The $yndicate's grand pigginess raised his head, breathing in heavily. "Not natives..." he thought aloud, "... Then..." Lowering his head, he said to them, "An interrogation is in order." Lord Bacon paced back and forth, his shadowy form underneath his robe of lost comrades shifting like that of a spirit and not like that of a living being. "Where were you last night?" he asked. "And, have you seen a garbage monster anywhere around? My Wicked Whiff tells me..." He snorted, somewhat proudly, "... Tells me this land has seen much rot." He turned to the male, "Where are you from?" Then, he turned to the female, "And you! From where do you hail, if not this... Bay?"

The $yndicate's Hog Kaiser could tell that the two were tight-lipped, assuming it was because they were sworn under oath to do so. "... This insurrection will be noted," he spake, halting his pacing. "It is clear to me that the dagger is at your throats. Lord Bacon knows." He looked up again, as if reminiscing about something. "Yes... We know all too well about it..." He started to speak as if he was about to go off on a tangent with an old war story, but came to a different conclusion whilst in retrospect. "You, lass, say that it is unwise to speak to one you know poorly? Know you not of the Hog Kaiser? Surely, you know my people are slaughtered every day. Yes, my people know much..." He went off on a tangent, babbling on almost incoherently, but passionately.

The $yndicate's porky operative snorted with a loud gasp, shocked that the two of them knew nothing of the bacon. "What's this?! We do not believe this! Pigs are foreign to the both of you?! Why, I..." he snorted, seemingly angrily, "I..." he snorted again, flustered. "I... We must show you our resolve! Come to me, my brethren! Show them the form of the great and mighty PIG!!!" There was a flash from the gaping eye holes of the gas mask, souls pouring out of it in the torrents. Each of them porcine, they ran straight up into the sky and up to the stars, their rotund bellies and cloven hooves moving about every which way in a stampede. The pig spirits were as clear as day, but eventually ran out. "These..." Lord Bacon said, "... Are my fallen brethren. The Pig."

The $yndicate's Lord Bacon stared into the scared eyes of the young lady and knew in his heart(?) that she had seen the might of the Pig. "Are you scared of the Pig, my child? Haha, well, it is only natural when you are graced for the first ti--" During the display, it seemed that the fish person was afraid as well. He had even gotten up to leave. Lord Bacon turned and watched him go, saying to him before he got too far, "Have you been terrified by the might of the Pig, as well?" The Hog Kaiser seemed hurt. "Thousands-- Nay, MILLIONS, if not MORE of my brethren are slaughtered every day, and we share a bond with each other that is more passionate than death itself! Embolden yourself and bask in the greatness that is the PIG!" The heartfelt speech seemed genuine.

The $yndicate's pig master turned his head down, seeming crestfallen. "Why..." he sniffed, "I... Had no idea..." The two of them had such sad stories to tell as well, and it seemed like they felt very strongly about them, just as the Hog Kaiser did. "We are not so different, we three..." Lord Bacon said, his spirit returning to him, "I... I, myself, am not of the living... Which is why I take the souls of my people and harbor them in my body as I wear the robes of their flesh as mine own. By this, they are kept close to me, and--" It was then that both had gotten up to leave, and the Hog Kaiser lowered his snout once more. He sniffed, but not because he was smelling anything.

The $yndicate had retrieved the Hog Kaiser from the Bay after hearing a bad report and decided to send in a different specialist to take care of the collateral damage of Lord Bacon's passion. A Dimension Gate opened up and from it a thirteen foot tall panda with a star on his forehead and a heart on his chest, two strange maracas, and eyes that were eternally squinted in intensity stepped through. "Hiyoooo~!" the panda said, "I'm the Saikou Panda~!"

The $yndicate's party panda shook his maracas happily, dancing about with pleasure. "Do you like to party?" he asked innocently, seeming to be shaking his maracas with a vivacious intent that matched the intensity of his squinted eyes. "Do you like fun?" he asked as well, the star on his head beginning to glow brightly. "Because I DO~!" He spun around once and shook his maracas decisively, then said, "Yeah!"

The $yndicate's dancing bear of comical design and proportion raised his maracas up into the air and said, "Yes~! Anything can be a party~!" before the maracas popped with confetti all over the place. The star stopped glowing, but before it did, the maracas mysteriously reappeared completely repaired in the giant panda's nubby paws. What Azure detected would be nothing more than a simple mystical restoration energy that fixed the maracas and gave the Saikou Panda more drive to party. "Congratulations~!" said the bear, the heart on his chest now glowing brightly, like the star once did.

The $yndicate's big bear didn't seem to understand why the others were not in a good mood. "You all aren't very peppy," he said, keeping an eternal, wide, sharp-toothed smile upon his face, "But maybe this will cheer you up!" The heart emanated the energy of the Saikou Panda's emotions and intentions, which were innocent and pure; happy and loving. There was no form of danger to it, simply the spread of good vibes in the purest form. Radiating energy, he danced his way to the table and inspected the food. "PARTY FOOD!!" he shouted before turning to the others, "See? You guys ARE having a party! I know lots of fun things we can do! Love-love desu~!"

The $yndicate's fun-loving ursine bounced around, as his comically designed body was rather fluffy. "So, you're telling me you're ALWAYS having a party here? That's really cool!" Hearts floated around the Saikou Panda comically, but they did not pop like normal comic hearts did. They instead remained hovering as tangible energy that clustered around the panda's head. "I am here because..." He shook his maracas a few times, as if playing the drums with them, "Because...!" He spun around once more, then fell on his rear, laughing. "Because the Veritas sent me to make relations better between this dimension and ours~!" At being called strange, Saikou Panda shifted his intensely squinted eyes at Azure and said, "Thank you!"

The $yndicate's panda bear rocked his gigantic, rotund head from side to side. The hearts around his head popped a few times, and he suddenly became still. The heart on his chest stopped glowing. He lowered his maracas. "Each of us has ONE purpose, usually, and ONE purpose only. Mine is FUN!" He sat down next to the tree, the star on his head glowing again. "Well, what do you consider fun, strangers? I will be settling the mistaken affairs between dimensions, so because I am capable of all forms of fun and love, I am able to engage in your type of fun." He cocked his head to the side. "But... I need to know what that is, first." He shook his maracas suspenseful.

The $yndicate's Saikou Panda kept an eternal smile on his face, eyes still squinted as intensely as before. He was not moving however, and it seemed like his life force was leaving him, as his glow was fading away. "I see... Your fun is relaxing." Saikou Panda was meant as a creation for uplifting spirits, and by design, had every function to do so. "Ah, well then, I suppose I will enjoy your fun as well!" The panda, almost robotically, drooped its head and the star and heart no longer glowed. It sat there motionless. Silent. Almost like it was dead. Yet, the smile never faded from its face. It was almost daunting.

The $yndicate was silent.
