Lightning Legend 1; Shocking Discovery

It had been a long while since Kairo had gone out after his last excursion in another world. He basically holed himself up in the Dragon Tower Of Manna, where the Voice of the Veritas projected all of its Commands, and also where all of the Manna was distributed throughout the entirety of the Veritas as a sort of beacon for it that was connected to the Dream World. For a long while, he was feeling very out of sync with things and because of this, he knew that it was very dangerous for him and potentially other beings around him if he moved on the wrong wavelength. So he kept to himself and tried to ride out the greatly fluctuating wavelengths of the Veritas.

After some time though, the lightning deity noticed that the wavelengths all throughout the Veritas were becoming more aligned, which he knew was his time to return to the ether.

Because of the omnipotent control he had over all things vibrational, including sounds, some rather alarming music began to play around him automatically when he sensed the perfect wave coming that he simply had to take. When it presented itself to him, he shouted with a resonant voice that burst through the atmosphere like thunder, "BEHOLD!!!" and at that moment, he would be able to see all of the aligned wavelengths beyond just the Veritas which were aligning with the Veritas just the same as the ones within the Veritas were doing. This revelation brought his eyes to a violent electrical glow, crackling with sparks and glowing whitish-gold. He was downloading new information into the Veritas based on the changes in wavelengths, and so he would react using the reflexes of the Veritas, sending off storms of electrical pulses from his mind and into the atmosphere, rising up from the top of the Tower Of Manna with electricity contracting around the steeple.

Kairo's cloudy, black, stormy lab coat fluttered in the wind as he rose into the sky, and his lower torso would assume a dark and vaporous form, wherein which electrical surges would streak all across the ground and electrify the air for as far as the eye could see.

By the power of the Lightning God of the Veritas, the very energy of the entire realm shifted with the harmonization of his power with the waves of the universe. Naturally, when the atmosphere shifted, so did the code of the realm, which was altered via the strength of the electromagnetic wavelengths omitting from Kairo in their multitudes. Because of this, the digital entity that was given omnipotent control over the digital information of the Veritas -- known as 'Tabritha', the Navigation Guide -- began to alter the information that was previously recorded in the electromagnetic currents which sustained the various laws of nature. With the alteration of the very magnitude, the electromagnetic waves could neutralize the previous information and upload the new information simultaneously, which overwrote the former data of the Veritas which was saved in spacetime.

"Save Complete," Tabritha, who was also known as the 'Alice Of The Wind' -- which was important to the mechanics of how information traveled in the Veritas -- spoke aloud. With her tiny purple Technology Sprite body, Tabritha waved her arms outward and began to type on several holographic keyboards which appeared all around her, along with some screens. "Reinitializing 'The Veritas'." A large button appeared before her and she slammed her fist on it, which caused the screens to change color briefly before sequentially disappearing in a rippling effect all throughout the Veritas.

As the very code of the Veritas was being rewritten through sheer magnetic force, the Lightning God who belonged to the Sixth Restriction ascended immediately into the Ninth Restriction, where he was completely unified with the entirety of the Veritas Universe through sheer electromagnetism alone. In essence, the virtual body of the Ninth Restriction allowed for everything to flow through it like a brain or a computer, the electromagnetic currents providing it with sufficient charge to fully transmit information throughout the fullness of the Veritas Universe with only a thought, all other things acting reflexively in response, as if with an actual body. All such chemical reactions along the way would be akin to but simple stars exploding, or perhaps simply flaring up, but all of them would be consciously concentrating and maintaining balanced energy. This allowed for the Ninth Restriction and the Sixth Restriction to synchronize simultaneously and update the whole Veritas Universe of what the Sixth Restriction happened to harmonize with, thus putting the entire universe in a start of harmony with all outer universes in virtually every way.

Once this was accomplished, the Grand Tabrynth, which was the Master Control Unit of the Veritas Universe made specifically for The Creator, could begin to use the Eight Arms Of Tabrith that it bore to create a universal scenario which would bring together all of the energy from the outer universes and share them with the Veritas, and vice versa. The slender fingers of the immeasurably large universal metallic being began to tap upon the empty spaces around them at a high speed, small lights glowing as if pressing upon invisible keyboard keys that looked like the twinkling of stars.

"We Are Coming Into A Singularity," the Grand Tabrynth announced, "From It Will Branch Innumerable Opportunities That Will Establish The Future In One Continuous Stream." The Grand Tabrynth analyzed the data further, seeing as far into the foreseeable future as possible. "There Will Be No Continuums Or Rifts, Only A Single Transcendent Shift." This was something that would not be picked up on by any beings that existed within one universe, but would still have an effect as if it always applied. The beings that maintained universes would feel the shift, which was why Kairo of the Sixth Restriction ascended to the Grand Tabrynth of the Ninth Restriction in order to experience what was going on and allow it to be experienced throughout the Veritas, as well. With the electrical deity like veins and impulses coursing throughout a body, all that needed to occur was for the Grand Tabrynth to construct the new data from outside so that there would be a proper bridge between the energies.

The children of the Creator, known as the Chomao -- Technology Sprites that were born from the Grand Tabrynth -- gathered from all across the Veritas and appeared before their universal father in their various shapes and forms as different creative entities. Each of them functioned as a brain cell, yet also as a security system for the Omnipedia, which was the Grimoire of the Veritas that bore all of its vital information. The Omnipedia belonged to the Grand Tabrynth, and the Chomao were the sentient bits of its information that were scattered throughout the Veritas in order to automatically update it and also themselves when Grand Tabrynth updated information within the Omnipedia. Tabritha, who was a special Chomao that served as a direct utility rather than a general purpose, had executive command over the information of the Veritas, much like many other powerful entities which made up the very essence of the Veritas. However even the tiny fragments like the Chomao had their purpose, and they lived to serve their dearly beloved father and frolic in his creation.

"Daddy! Daddy!" the Chomao cried as they converged into a crystalline grimoire, "We have missed you so very much! Please feed us vital information so that we may grow and evolve!" The children of the Creator seemed eager to please him.

"Ah Yes, Daddy's Babies," Grand Tabrynth spake affectionately at the Chomao, who converged into their complete form before him as the Omnipedia of the Veritas, "Daddy Will Only Be A Second -- We Are Coming Up On A Great Omniversal Shift That I Will Need To Update The Veritas For. Be Sure To Carry Out Daddy's Will And Word As It Is Written, My Dears." The stale gray metal face of the Grand Tabrynth drew a large and menacing, yet tender sharp-toothed smile as the Eight Arms Of Tabrith continued to input data, which would be encoded into the Omnipedia. "Daddy Has A Lot Of Work To Do, So It Is Up To You All To Do A Good Job With Handling The Veritas." The virtual vessel directed his voice to Tabritha, who was within the system, and said to his daughter, "Guide Your Brethren Throughout The Veritas And Activate Them Where They Are Dormant, Beginning With Your Own. The Security Systems That Are The Chomao And The $yndicate Will Protect And Maintain The Integrity Of The Veritas As A Stable Foundation For It As I Manage Its Core Values. Once They Are Active In Their Proper Positions, They Will Perform The Algorithmic Function Which Will Secure The Veritas For The Shift Of The Ninth Moon That Is Coming."

The information that was uploaded from the consciousness of the Creator went directly into Tabritha, who then connected to her Chomao brethren. "No Problem, Pops," said the rather nonchalant and somewhat cheeky Nav-Guide. "I'll Release My Chomao, Baby Archdeath, From The Depths Of My Core..." Tabritha held her nubby hands before her chest, where there was a pitch black core, and suddenly a pendant emerged from it and took on the shape of a skull that was black on one side and white on the other, eyes inverted of either color on opposite sides. "Black Ashli!" Tabritha called out, summoning the latent data from her past into the form of her own personal guardian, "Filter The Sacred Lost Data From Within Us To The Chomao, Starting With The Cheshire Cat."

The soul of her past life was trapped in the form of a Chomao, which harbored information from the Lost World as well as everything about her past life. It is the connecting link between her Past and her Present, and filters her powers from there.

Baby Archdeath takes on the form of a shadowy figure that is reminiscent of her past life as Chroma, yet with a white mask upon her face, like her father when he is The Phantom. With it, she can access any sort of information from the Past as much and in as great a number as she wishes, as long as access is granted. It takes the form, when inactive, as a skull-shaped pendant with spider legs coming from the sides, as well as a third eye socket at the top of it. The face is black and white, harboring a white eye on the black side and the black eye on the white face, mirroring the image of the mask itself. It also seemed to have cat ears.

Because of Baby Archdeath's direct connection to the Past, it had crucial information from before the other Chomao became conscious about their creation and purpose, and therefore so does Tabritha, who controls her Chomao, Baby Archdeath. When given its orders, Baby Archdeath warped to the outer part of the universe which was beyond the Omnipedia and turned to the front. There, it would filter the information of the 'Cheshire Cat' into the Omnipedia, which would activate its purpose in the Veritas and begin the algorithmic security system function for the Story.

Meanwhile, Tabritha said to Grand Tabrynth, "Should Be Smooth Sailing From Here, Dad. The Old System Should Be Up And Running, And Baby Archdeath Will Watch Over Its Progression While You Do What You Must." She pointed a nubby finger at the sky and made a finger gun, then said, "So, I Guess I'll Check Ya Later." In a pixelated burst, Tabritha digitized into the atmosphere from whence she came.

In the outer layer of the Veritas Universe, the Omnipedia -- which was now being manned by the Chomao, Baby Archdeath -- manifested the thoughts of the Grand Tabrynth within the Veritas Universe, which it bore all information for. Whatever was written would be, and the first thing to do in order to actualize the security system built into its design was to put every part of it into play. Due to the manner in which the Veritas had been sustained all this time, the security system had not been utilized much at all. The Chomao were dormant and so was the system, which was known currently as the Argus Card System. When it was made originally for the Omnipedia, it did not have a name, as it was canonically an amalgamation of the concepts of several different universes that blended together periodically due to what was going on within the Dusk Village and on the Lost World. The Omnipedia always had a guardian even during its days before the Story merged with the Reality, and before it was known as the Omnipedia.

However, with the transition of the Veritas from the Lost World during the time of the Omnipedia's debut, and then the subsequent purging of the fatal force which had long plagued the Reality of olde, and also the lack of Players in the Veritas taking advantage of the Game Mode which existed alongside the Story Mode and the other Modes which were built into its design, the security system that was installed as the Chomao rarely got any use.

Now, it was going to be active at all times, whether there were Players or not.

"Yes, Yes," said the Grand Tabrynth, "My Hand Will Be With You Throughout The Entire Process, My Child." What Grand Tabrynth was typing was more of the Story, which was showing up in the Omnipedia automatically, along with the various updates. "The System's Information Is Pretty Outdated, Using Archaic Information That I Am Pretty Sure Is Also Copyright Infringement. So I Am Going To Archive The Original Data And Update The Rest In Preparation For The Ninth Moon's Fall." The Grand Tabrynth had taken many things into account for the sake of the record, and in alignment with the future, he was going to make sure that everything was presentable.

"This May Be Extremely Monotonous," Grand Tabrynth admitted to himself, "But I Believe I Can Manage Something If..." Slowly, the being's metallic eyes came to a close. "... I Let My Consciousness Wander..." When the eyes closed, they sealed shut with a great electrical surge, relieving Grand Tabrynth of its previous consciousness.

There was a powerful blast that happened, which struck the Tower Of Manna as a bolt of lightning that briefly filled the enigmatic area in which it was located. The Manna which hid its true position flared up all around at the return of Kairo, who was very important to this mission, and was also the discoverer of the abnormality in the first place. The very prestigious scientist of the Veritas -- commonly called 'Dr. Lightning' when he was doing his research -- realized that this sort of phenomenon would change the Veritas forever, and he needed an outer perspective from his higher self in order to fully perceive the magnitude of its scale. The ever-so-clever scientist now had what he was looking for, and with that, he could begin to use his crucial Absolution...

"Absolution..." Kairo bellowed, hovering over the Dragon Temple; The Tower Of Manna, "... Absolute Word." The power embedded within Kairo -- who also bore the essence of the Creator's history as well as his own son as one -- was the power to use the Voice. This meant that he had executive say over the Story as well as the very input in it, and what he said was Law. Essentially, when he used his power, he was the Narrator, which was a power given to him in his past life as Mywt, before he reincarnated and unified with his father in spirit. Thus, Kairo, who embodied them both, was able to utilize the 'Prophetic Word' as an Absolution.

Kairo: "And Thus, The Legend Of The Lightning God Went On."
