| Mechanica's wolf took off, speeding through the grass as fast as its legs would carry, tongue hanging out of its mouth happily. It was creeping its way slowly into the depths of the Bay, following the edge of the water and leaving the Omocha behind. "Hey!" the Omocha cried, "Don't go too far!" Still, Mechanica could see everything from her tower, as it towered over pretty much everything, though it was simply the steeple. She pleasantly watched Sibyllae and her cybernetic wolf play, letting her Omocha serve its purpose.

| Mechanica's Omocha finally caught up to them, its tiny legs taking it to them as they ran off. When the wolf saw that Sibyllae stopped chasing it, it slowed down to a stop, then cocked its head to the side curiously. It barked at her, wondering why she stopped, then walked over to her, panting heavily. "What's the matter?" the Omocha asked.

| Mechanica's interest was piqued from the top of her castle, where she watched over them as she continued engaging in conversation with her special guest, Eric. The Omocha asked, "Why is it unsafe? The data we have collected states that this is a peaceful haven... I cannot imagine anything here is unsafe." The wolf tilted its head to the other side, clearly reading that Sibyllae was afraid. It jumped low to the ground, panting, as if still ready to play, but it was going to go back toward the edge of the forest, as it originally was doing. | |

| Mechanica's eyes gleamed and a Serviceman said, "Right away, sir!" He turned his head and the Servicemen behind him each turned until they reached the final Serviceman at the bottom, who went inside to acquire the medicine. In a short time, he was out, passing it along the line of Servicemen back up to Eric. "Here you are, sir. Please do feel better." Meanwhile, the Omocha understood that what Sibyllae meant that it wasn't safe for HER to go, not that the place was unsafe. Smiling, it called the wolf back, which it would hop on the back of and hold on to. "Well, it is best if we go back, then," the Omocha said. The wolf looked to Sibyllae for a brief moment, then took off again.

| Mechanica spoke up immediately, saying, "We were talking about your situation with the captain. Though..." Mechanica looked down. "I believe you were saying that you were comfortable with where you were and what you were doing, for the time being -- I deduced that it was to avoid altercations." Down below, the wolf and Omocha were heading back toward the table, specifically to where the tree was. They hid behind the tree, awaiting Sibyllae. | |

| Mechanica understood Eric's issue. When at the mercy of another, sometimes one must do what they don't particularly like... Mechanica knew that firsthand. "Well," she said, her eyes drifting over to see what he was looking at, "If you ever need me or my capabilities, feel free to call upon me -- upon us." Back at the tree, the wolf began to circle around the tree just the same as Sibyllae, as if trying to sneak up on her and prevent from being seen as they both walked around the tree. The wolf and the Omocha were still playing, but it could count as a miniature game of 'hide-and-seek'.

| Mechanica couldn't help but be worried. Eric seemed very upset, despite the assurance of friendship he had in Mechanica and the guaranteed success of her resources. It made her wonder what was troubling him so much. The electronic bits of him told a story to Mechanica. "You seem more stressed than one should be, and it seems to be taking a toll on you." She gazed at him with her sunken eyes. "What is it that has you so antsy?" While that was going on, the wolf and Omocha lost track of Sibyllae. "Oh? That's odd," the Omocha said, the wolf still circling around in confusion.

| Mechanica could only wonder if it all had something to do with his 'replacement' parts. They didn't seem to be necessary, strictly based on what Eric was saying about his situation... It was more that they were forced. That being said, it could be well inferred that the machinery that was within him... Were suppressants. "Query," Mechanica stated, "Just what are those... 'Replacement' parts supposed to do, if they are not assisting you? You speak of them as if they are for some sort of punishment..." Mechanica knew very well how machines could and would be used to enslave others... Aliens were commonly known to do such things, especially primitive ones.

| Mechanica hearkened to Eric's story emotionlessly. "I See," was all that came out of her as he came to its end. She could tell that the synthesis between his machinery and his biological physiology was not completely sound -- nearly makeshift, as if just being given the bare minimum of treatment. "I won't ask why an engineer is the one being sent out on dangerous assignments," Mechanica said, "But I will say this; you can always come to me if you want some... Real fine tuning done to you. I can make your parts work like a dream, as it's been made a priority for mechanical synthetics and prosthetics to be made seamless for variable use." She pointed to the wolf down below, then said, "One of my Mechanimals. Its parts are synced perfectly with its body."

| Mechanica was stagnant for a while, completely motionless and emotionless. It was not until the very end that her face did crack a smile, and a giggle escaped the otherwise completely composed Mechanica." Ahmhm..." she began, "AHAHAHAHAHAHA~!!!" Nothing else laughed, and Mechanica's laughter reverberated in the air. "Oh, dear," she'd say, wiping an eye with a real tear, "They just sound so... PRIMITIVE!" Of course, naturally, usually she was more refined than this, as she was once primitive, but... "... Pardon me. It's just... How can anything logically allow such things to be possible? If I were a lesser machine, I'd malfunction at the thought." She sighed. "Well, all in all, I will be here, and so will my Mechanica. I will always be here for you... Eric."

| Mechanica was certain that Eric was like his people, for Mechanica knew that there was a higher power for absolute certain, and that there was order in the universe... The machines made sure of that, though they did so completely in secret -- a sin they would atone for one day, yet went through everyday. She was going to comment, but found herself abstaining once Eric confided in her. It warmed her core for him to feel that way about her, especially when the people from her dimension were not so completely well-liked. She sat in silence for a while, smiling happily, before finally saying rather acutely, "Yes. That Is A Guarantee." At the confirmation, all Servicemen saluted and Servicemaids bowed, saying in unison, "You can count on us!"

| Mechanica blinked, wondering if that meant that Eric was going to be called back to the ship. "Does this mean we must part ways, my friend? Parting is such sweet sorrow... As they say." Mechanica smiled. "If so, I did enjoy my time with you. I may not have my castle here next time, nor may I be here in person, but should you need me, one of my Mechanica will be... Around." She giggled a bit to herself. "Be sure to take care of yourself... Seriously. And see me if you cannot." Mechanica's face became emotionless. "I an serious about that."

| Mechanica saw him off, letting her Servicemen and Servicemaids do the bidding of the final farewells. "As Did I," Mechanica would say in response to enjoying company, "I Wish You The Very Best." She could not stop smiling -- she'd made a friend, and he wasn't mechanical... Well, too mechanical. It would sound like the very tower and city itself were speaking as Mechanica spoke, all of which started to transform into a highly compact form that resembled a floating cylinder -- not unlike the castle steeple, itself. A Dimension Gate opened up below Mechanica and she and her entire body fell through, returning to her home dimension -- the Veritas -- and leaving some Mechanica around for scouting. Maybe she'd find another friend.

| Mechanica's Serviceman crept through the area, inspecting it like a detective. The male humanoid figure in a black police uniform had been analyzing the Bay for his Mistress, Mechanica, after she departed back to the Veritas. He stumbled across someone on a giant mushroom. "Hello!" the Serviceman said, "I am a Serviceman. What are you?"

| Mechanica's Serviceman did not know what a Xaenian was. He could not infer, either, as the species was totally unheard of. "Shi'ziir," the Serviceman repeated, "It is nice to meet you." He tone was robotic and stiff, but he seemed capable of facial expressions to show his emotions. He smiled, bowing slightly. When he came back up, he asked, "What is a Xaenian? I have never heard of such a creature."

| Mechanica's Serviceman's eyes buzzed with information as the data was collected from the word of mouth of Shi'ziir. Once she finished speaking, the Serviceman's eyes closed and opened up normal, their original black color. "Ah! Yes, you do appear to be a dragon. However, I understand that this is only an appearance." It seemed like it was basic understanding after someone tells you exactly what you repeat, but the Serviceman was double-checking its information. "You are also foreign to this land. I am determining the safety of this land, as well, for my Mistress." The Serviceman saluted. "How can I be of service?"

| Mechanica's Serviceman smiled, nodding and pulling his officer cap down a bit to cover his face with its shadow. "Hmhmhm... Well then, allow me to be of service!" This was the Servicemen's specialty. "First, a line of inquiry; what is it that you eat? What is natural to you on your homeworld? And what have you eaten here already?" These were crucial for efficient service.

| Mechanica's Serviceman processed the information carefully, his smile fading into an emotionless blankness. "Specified ingredients..." he muttered, "Signature to homeworld..." he continued. "... Processing data..." It seemed as though the Serviceman was attempting to calculate a solution. Suddenly, there was an electrical surge throughout his body, and he suddenly smiled again, asking, "What did those foods taste like? Perhaps they can be simulated by blending ingredients or finding new ones."

| Mechanica's Serviceman input the words 'Tart' and 'Sweet' into his database and searched. After a short time, he came up with, "Confectionery Treats!" They were variably 'tart' and 'sweet' -- sometimes one or the other, other times, both. "There are a number of confectionery treats that match your description; perhaps you should try some of those, if you know what those are." As for the leaves... "I have no collection of data about leaves that quench thirst, however I am aware that dew on plants is the closest thing to your description," the Serviceman said. "Hopefully this assists you," he said with a salute.

| Mechanica's Serviceman came to a grinding halt in his calculation. He was already at his wit's end about this, if the being could not consume what she was saying her food tasted like and had already tried. "Error!" the Serviceman cried, his head spinning around a few times, eyes swirling. "Sustenance ineffective! Malnutrition imminent!" Placing his hands up to his head, he twirled around, trying to come up with a logical solution. That's when it happened. Suddenly, he stopped, stood at attention, and became completely still. A woman's voice suddenly echoed from beyond, "What If We Simulate The Foods Using Those From A Different World?"

| Mechanica opened a fairly large Dimension Gate over the Rainbow Bay, which overshadowed it and eclipsed the sun whilst it was open. From it, a large mechanical construct seeming to be a factory or laboratory eased its way through, converting itself into many different forms for mobility, shifting its parts around and placing them intricately atop the water below. It was part of Mechanica's Factorial City; the Manufactory. This immense factorial laboratory held biological entities of every type in liquid filled test tubes -- plants and fruits inclusive. The Serviceman said, "This is the Manufactory of my Mistress, Mechanica, where we find or create different forms of organic life from all over the multiverse."

| Mechanica's Serviceman bowed as the female voice echoed again, saying, "Thank You." The Serviceman stood upright and the Dimension Gate closed, allowing the sun to shine again. A metallic platform extended from the mechanical lab and onto the shore of the Bay. The Serviceman said, "Follow me and we will be able to see if we can find a food that is similar to what you eat, or if we can create it using information that you have to give us." The Serviceman insisted upon escorting Shi'ziir into the Manufactory, extending a hand and awaiting a response with a smile.

| Mechanica's Serviceman took Shi'ziir over the metallic bridge platform and straight into the heart of the Manufactory, where the biological lifeforms in liquid bearing containers were. There were sections for animals, humans, insects, plants, fruits, vegetables, and many other types of things -- it was a fairly large area, being like a city in and of itself. Once they reached the 'fruits', the Serviceman said, "Take a look around and inspect what sort of fruit may be suitable for your taste. You can stick your hand straight through the stasis chamber, so do not worry about that. Otherwise, we can scan your tongue and gather information from your taste buds to match with edible food for you."

| Mechanica's Manufactory held all types of fruits, some that were appealing to the eye and others that seemed to be foreign altogether. There were some that did not look like fruits, but were labeled as such based on their physiology, despite what planet they were from or materials they were made of. Some fruits were natural and others artificial, but all were labeled with detailed descriptions about what they were. Not a single detail was left out. The Serviceman saw Shi'ziir looking and said, "If you have trouble deciding, there is always scanning of your tongue for what will go well with your taste buds."

| Mechanica's Serviceman nodded and walked over to a machine bearing small devices. Pulling out one of the remote devices, he said to Shi'ziir, "Please hold out your tongue whilst I scan it with this device."

| Mechanica's Serviceman hadn't seen anyone with a glowing tongue before, let alone it being golden in color. Perhaps that coloration and radiation was part of why normal foods were toxic to this creature. Taking the scanner to her tongue, the Serviceman immediately scanned it, and as soon as he did, the fruits that were compatible would light up in their containers whilst those which were toxic or incompatible would darken. This would narrow down Shi'ziir's choices considerably. "There, now," the Serviceman said, "Pick from whatever you like."
