First topic message reminder :
He landed on his feet with a loud thud, befitting a man of his physical appearance. He hadn't actually fallen from anywhere, just appeared here from the portal, but it was very much akin to a jump to him. Disoriented, slightly, he held a hand to his head, "Whoa, I don't plan on doing something like that ever again." He murmured quietly to himself, gathering his bearings, before he looked around at the area where he'd landed.
Lifeless, for the most part, and quite barren, there seemed to be people at least. He was glad for that, even if many of the men were eyeing him as a threat and many of the women as a piece of succulent meat they couldn't wait to dig into. Maybe this was a mistake. He thought, but immediately pushed the thought to the back of his head. He felt like there was a reason why he'd chosen to come here and so he would find it and, as he turned around to stare up at the extravagantly gaudy hotel, the only beacon of light in this vast wasteland, El figured that this was the best place to look.

"Oh really?" His story seemed to pique some sort of interest in her. She'd turn to look to Thanytoz, coming to a slight understanding of why she was called here by him. If he came out of the portals, then perhaps...
"... Well, considering the state of Valparaiso currently... I wouldn't be surprised if someone or something were in need of some sort of help..." she giggled to herself, shifting her eyes from side to side, "... But uh, maybe you could have been sent to help restore this crapshack, huh?" Granted, she wasn't really speaking of the Hotel, since it was recently restored thanks to some efforts undergone before... Her memory after the move was still very much intact, so she was keen on the workings and goings on of this world, as she knew Thanytoz was as well. He'd fallen silent, probably knowing that there was nothing else for him to say or do until directly addressed, since Tzita knew the business from here on out. They had some sort of underlying communication going on between them...
"... Tell you what..." she's say finally, sprawling herself gently over the desk, "Why don't I just show you around, huh? Give you that warm Valparaiso welcome?"
Though her looks suggested she wanted otherwise, the services of the Forbidden Hotel actually were different from what the man thought (even if he was quite right to think so). Tzita was just a rather flirtatious woman, even in her manner of assisting others in menial tasks that had nothing to do with those other services that she so very much enjoyed. It was just who she was.

El thought to himself for a moment, about the woman's words. He had always been known as a man of the people, and he found joy in the little things that he did for people, for no reward of course. It seemed like a viable reason for why he could have felt something from this particular area rather than the other four, who as seemed to fine and dandy in comparison. He thought for only a brief second on two of course, before nodding his head and folding his arms and rubbing his chin as he eyed this woman as she spread herself out across the desk top. As if she were the buffet of a hungry man returning home from war.
"If I could impose on your kindness for a bit longer." He replied, sounding as if he were asking her permission to show him around as she had offered. No matter how... free this woman seemed to be, she was still a lady in his eyes and he was taught to teach them all with the utmost of respect and courtesy. El was a knight, after all.
And who said Chivalry was dead?

She narrowed her eyes at him and his manner, finding it a bit suspicious, considering that he hadn't once seemed to be interested in this tasty morsel before him. A feeling that was both new and somewhat frustrating, she would rise up again and slide down from the desk softly, stumbling slightly as she bumped into him, nearly falling right into his chest. "Oh my~" she yelped, pressing her chest close to his with a great deal of her body weight before rather sharply pulling herself away once she regained her composure, "Clumsy me~. How embarrassing to slip up in front of someone so proper..." she turned her head shyly, gripping her chain tightly and biting her bottom lip, "... You're much too kind~..." she'd mutter flirtatiously through a giggle or two... '... seriously...' she added under her breath, completely unable to be heard.
"Well then... I guess I should be a good escort and get down... to business, huh~?" She started off toward the door, turning her head briefly to Thanytoz one last time before opening the doors to exit the Hotel and back out into the streets of the rough and tumble Lawless Land, "... Right this way~. Um... What did you say your name was, again?" If there was even a first time. The two hadn't been properly introduced. "Durandal, or something?" She knew the name of his sword before she knew the name of the man attached to it... Though, that wasn't uncommon for this one.

Of course was there in the split second he needed to be to catch her, with his hands placed firmly and squeezing on her hips, as she tripped and fell over, which was the reason why she'd fallen into his chest in the first place. He'd stepped back a bit since she'd sprawled herself out on the desk, but returned to a position to catch her in a fraction of a second. She probably hadn't noticed, but El wasn't so sure about the mysterious man, with eyes as focused as an elder dragon's and a demeanor to match.
Casually, the knight smiled inwardly at his actions and only nodded his head at her compliment before following her towards the door. He stopped at the threshold though and tapped his left breast the fist of his left hand before holding his hand, palm showing, out towards the woman. "The sword of silver at my side is Durandal. I am known as Elliott Faulkner of the Gaerean Kingdom, first of my name, but my friends call me El. As you may as well." He bowed his head, "And may I ask the same of you, Milady?"

She was intrigued by his rather elegant charm; clearly of some sort of high stature or royalty of sorts, as was apparent in his manner and his etiquette. Tzita was privy to these things as well, having had the same education in her life, yet choosing not to use it for the same purposes as he did. The man was interesting, even for a regal one, which was something she didn't see everyday... Hell, at all, rather, staying in Valparaiso. She couldn't say that it wasn't a nice change of pace...
"Tzita," she'd say with a smile, her eyes softening a bit, "... Tzita L'sia." That was all he asked for and that was all she'd give him; unlike this guy, she knew better than to just go spilling out all of her information to anyone and everyone around her... As he would soon find out in these streets. He may have been able to hold his charm, but could he hold his own where his charm would probably fail him? She may have been his escort and all that, but this land still was Lawless... And she was not held responsible nor liable for anything that could and may occur in their time outside... And neither was the Deadman's Den, for that matter. "Come on. Let me show you around... El." There was a hint of fondness that drifted from her lips like honey as she'd draw her chain to close and lock the doors behind them once they both exited the Hotel's premises. From there, she could begin the grand (or, not so grand) tour of Valparaiso.

As the two of them mingled amongst each other, Thanytoz remained silent for the entire time, taking a more pensive position on the entire scenario, simply listening and thinking deeply on the matters at hand, as he'd been doing before El's arrival in the first place. He listened to them with an acuity one would not believe he possessed from his rather stoic expression and closed eyes; in fact, to the untrained eye, one would believe him to be asleep rather than simply in deep thought. Every time Tzita looked to him, he would open an eye and connect with her gaze before closing it the moment she would turn her attention back to El, not saying a word. It wasn't until El caught Tzita with remarkable reflexive speed that Thanytoz took note of the man's battle-ready skill and keenness of eye. Though he didn't say anything, he still noticed, and knew that such would be useful for whatever may lie beyond the doors of the Deadman's Den.
He looked up to Tzita as she escorted him out, nodding his head at her as she looked back at him one last time, for whatever reason. It was only once he knew that they were completely gone that he would relieve his shiftlessness, partially opening his eyes and looking down at the desk, "... So... It's starting, then..." The young man's story about suddenly falling into a portal was the most intriguing thing of all to Thanytoz, knowing exactly what that meant in terms of the Veritas as a whole. Despite being disconnected in law and rules, this place was still connected to a different degree, much like the other satellite land masses that were outside the jurisdiction of the Mainland law. He truly wondered what his purpose could be here... And if he would be the one to bring this place out of ruin.
However, Thanytoz also had another issue on his hand. Chusin. Whatever was afflicting her, which seemed to be some sort of Insanity, it was nothing short of exceedingly important to be taken care of with the utmost haste. He would definitely have to deal with her shortly in a place where he could actually see what it was that affected her. It could have very well been her Manna starting to churn within her and, due to her ineptitude in usage, was causing an energetic back up with effects like that on her being... But he couldn't be absolutely sure until he actually inspected her. If there were an Insanity outbreak in Valparaiso... Sure, it wouldn't harm the Mainland, or even get into the mainland, but it would still be bad nonetheless... Especially with all the people that were probably more susceptible to its influence, given their natural attitudes and the atmosphere of the land. This place was the most dangerous of all, in all honesty. Perhaps that was why he was so serious and silent... (10:31)

El couldn't help but smirk a little bit as he lifted his head, knowing that he'd only been given what he'd been asked for. El could read her coyness like an open book, but he chose not to show it. She withheld information because she probably knew something about this place that El didn't. He hadn't look around to see if anyone was listening in, but he probably would heard something if there was someone.
"As you wish, Lady L'sia." El placed his hand back on the pommel of his sword of silver and followed after Tzita for a while before catching up and walking at her side. She was quite tall, not as tall as himself of course, but compared to a lot of the women of his home world. She had quite the exotic color of skin as well, El would be lying if he ever said he wasn't, at least, a small bit interested in her, even if only for how unique she appeared to him.
